It’s conjunctive:
Let us pray …
Oremus in the old Mass and the new Mass means “Let us pray”
There was an amusing story of King George VI (or perhaps King George V) who attended a Church service and was obviously not familiar with the liturgy. The Anglican Vicar intoned ‘Let us Pray’ and the King replied ‘By all means!’
It looks really smart on you! ;)
