Winter sunset in Rome

Windet Sunset in Rome

A winter sunset in Rome. In the close-foreground on the left is part of the P.za. Navona and on the right part of the P.za delle Cinque Lune. (I have always thought that ought to be part of a murder mystery, though it is title of a really bad Italian film.) In the mid-foreground to the right of the crane is the sharp steeple of S. Maria dell’Anima, and (barely) the cupola of S. Maria della Pace. S. Pietro’s cupola is familar. The right of it is the glow of Castel Sant’Angelo.
