Planned Parenthood child-rape records destroyed during HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ time as governor of Kansas

I’m shocked!  Is it possible that HHS Sec. Kathleen Sebelius, pro-abortion catholic who may not receive Holy Communion according to can. 915, in some way helped Planned Parenthood officials dodge prosecution for failing to report cases of child rape?

From LifeSite:

No charges will be filed in connection with a national scandal involving the destruction of Planned Parenthood records during HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ time as governor of Kansas.

The Obama official has come under heavy fire from pro-life groups who are pointing out how a state attorney general she appointed in Kansas destroyed documents related 107 criminal charges former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline filed against the abortion business. The charges alleged that planned Parenthood failed to report cases of child rape on children on whom Planned Parenthood did abortions, that it failed to test whether an unborn child was viable (as required by state law) before doing a late-term abortion, and that it manipulated records it submitted to the state to cover up those crimes.

Because former attorney general Steve Six, the Sebelius appointee, destroyed the documents, a court dismissed all of the felony charges filed against Planned Parenthood because the evidence supporting those charges had been destroyed.

Late Friday, Shawnee County District Attorney Chad Taylor said  he will not file charges, according to the Associated Press.

Under Sebelius, the Kansas Health and Education Department fought access by Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline to original copies of abortion reports needed to prosecute Planned Parenthood.

This activity would be consistent to what we have seen and heard lately. She acts like a post-abortion woman, who needs counseling and prayer, real hard prayer, at this stage.

Emanations from Penumbras – perfect phrase for this destruction of proof and, and, and … a role model casting long shadows of confusion over catholics wanting something ‘good’ in the name of healthcare for all.

While this whole thing was playing out, Sebelius said she had no contact with Planned Parenthood, but was photographed at the home of the director, who was throwing a fundraiser for, wait for it, Sebelius. It seems to me I remember one of the lead investigators dying in a one car accident on a lonely highway on a sunny day. All very fishy. This woman is evil in Biblical proportions, like someone from Babylon.

  4. Scarltherr says:

Okay, Phil Kline, the investigating attorney wasn’t killed. He was disbarred and stripped of his professional credentials. I guess they figured he was too old to be considered a 4th trimester abortion.

“…pro-life groups who are pointing out how a state attorney general she appointed in Kansas….”

Attorneys general in Kansas are elected, not appointed.

The destruction of such evidence is heinous in the extreme.

However the article does not make a case that Sec Sebelius had a role in the destruction of the documents. While a number of things lead one to suspect that the Secretary might not disapprove the outcome of the actions, leaders are not always aware of or responsible for their subordinates actions.

There’s a surprising article in the Guardian about the strong link between abortion, the Left and eugenics:

“… this was no accident. The Fabians [British middle class left] were not attracted to eugenics because they briefly forgot their leftwing principles. The harder truth is that they were drawn to eugenics for what were then good, left-wing reasons. … Instead of natural selection and the law of the jungle, there would be planned selection. And what could be more socialist than planning? … If the State was going to plan the production of motor cars in the national interest, why should it not do the same for the production of babies?”

Apologies if someone’s mentioned this already, but it seems relevant to a discussion of the politics of abortion.

  8. boko fittleworth says:

Jack Cashill has a series of articles detailing how the Kansas state government was purchased by abortionists with the vast amounts of blood money from late term abortions. Kansas was an international center for these late term abortions, even though Kansas state law forbids them. The abortion money purchased the politicians who protected the abortionists. Sebelius has been at the center of great evil for quite some time.

Wow! Lucky for them the Almighty was away on vacation that week and did not notice that!
