Well, Fr. Z, I don’t know whether these podcasts just keep getting better or are so good there’s just no comparing them, but at any rate thank you.
Thanks, Father.
Ms. M-S: Thanks for that.
I appreciate the feedback.
Today I was looking at the stats for the podcasts. I have to add together the stats from iTunes and Soundcloud. I’m disappointed, frankly, at what I have found compared to last year when the old audio plugin was working. Then again, I’ve never been able to get readers here to use the sharing buttons or comment on the podcasts.
Fr. Z,
I may have missed it, but maybe make a call-out in a separate post here (that doesn’t get buried!!) to ask your flock to please rate/comment on the podcast in iTunes and let them know that this is critical for the podcast– a lot of people do not understand how crucial the ratings/comments + subscribing is for a podcast on iTunes.
But have no fear– people are listening. For me, the podcast has been a critical part of my Lenten prayer time in morning as I sit here in the virus’ death grip up in the northwestern corner of WA State, right along the Canadian border. (If you want to see hysteria over the virus… come on up here. We’re a good 2-3 weeks ahead of the rest of the country. Amateurs, you all are.) I appreciate the thoughtfulness of every one of the podcasts– your words, the music, the rhythm and tempo of it all together… they are expertly done. Please keep doing them and thank you for all the time and energy that you put into them!
Dear Fr. Z.
As always, the LentCazt offerings on your Blog, reference The Lenten Stations, are an integral part of one’s Lenten Journey.
Always pithy, interesting, relevant, and Holy.
They concentrate the mind on the ongoing Journey through Lent.
Many thanks and God Bless.
in Domino.
