ADVENTCAzT 2021 01: “Mary now leads us to the altar where she leads us in prayer.”

Here is ADVENTCAzT 01, for the 1st Sunday of Advent.

Today, Fr. Parsch brings us to Mary, who teaches us how to pray today’s Mass prayers.   And did you know that today’s Mass formulary and the Dies irae of the Requiem Mass are connected?

Thanks as ever, Father Z! Yesterday we put up the Advent calendar, the wreath, and the empty stable. This morning it’s a joy to be able to click on the little arrow and have you once again begin to lead us through the season.

Many thanks indeed for the time and effort you devote to these splendid Advent podcasts, Father Z.

Thank you also for posting the advert about the recording, Sancta Nox. The seminary of St Peter (Priesterseminar Sankt Petrus) in Opfenbach-Wigratzbad (Bavaria) where it was recorded is less than a one-hour drive from my home here in nearby Austria. I will be visiting there as soon as the latest in a series of COVID lockdowns has ended here; that will hopefully be before Christmas.

Thank you Father. We listen through the SoundCloud pop-up. Works well on an iPad.

  7. Mariana2 says:

    Thanks, Father.
