ADVENTCAzT 2021: 15 – 3rd Sunday of Advent “Gaudete” – Faith is more than the passive acquiescence to a proof.

One of a series of 5 minute daily podcasts during Advent 2021. Today Dom Prosper Gueranger makes a plea to those who do not adequately recognize Christ. Fulton sheen makes a comparison. Pope Benedict XVI speaks about Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Thanks, Father! I appreciate it when you conclude with a prayer so one can direct the feelings stirred by your readings and the music.

    Thanks, Father Z!

Fr. Z., I hope you don’t mind my mentioning this. Someone needs help and I thought of you. On Vox Cantoris there is a Gofundme for a man named Frank Furlano, who is likely to pass from this world to the next between now and Christmas. He is a good man, by Vox’s account. The family is in great need, and the little fund has not increased in much magnitude since it opened. There is such great need this week, for our friends and neighbors in Kentucky and the midwest, and here is poor Mr. Furlano and family, in great need. :(

Thanks, Father. I was able to get three more missals for my little ones. I give missals to them when they are confirmed and two will be confirmed next year so I want to have those on hand.

Thank you, Kathleen10, I gave a little money and we will pray for this family.
