Out of shadows and images and into truth!
Yes, I’m grateful, and just had an instance of that yesterday in prayers after Communion. I suddenly had a vivid picture in my mind of my First Communion prayer book with the prayer before the Cross (O good and gentle Jesus…), that I have said all my life, so many decades. I was overcome with tears of gratitude and love for the Lord, for the gift of my Catholic faith!
