    I am in Plymouth diocese Uk. In 2007 you published a letter from Bishop Christopher Budd on Summorum Pontificum, about which you had many comments. Today at Mass we learnt that he has banned Communion on the tongue and Communion under both species will also not be available. His reason, the swine flu pandemic. There has been 1 confirmed case in his diocesen which spans 3 counties. Trying to get more info for you.

    At the risk of annoying people, though, I wonder if the influence of the times is unduly present in the encyclical, and that, while accepting it in its totality, we might more profitably concentrate on some parts more than others.
