More proof that Speaker Pelosi isn’t interested in reducing the number of abortions

If we needed it, here is more proof that Nancy Pelosi isn’t interested in reducing the number of abortions.

Yep, we know she wants to pay for abortions. We have Henry Waxman’s own words to Mr. Stupak, a week or so ago, ‘but, we (Dems, Pelosi & her cronies) WANT to pay for abortions.’

    Big surprise.

Lord, Help these ones to see the light of truth, your Truth, Amen.

  2. Peggy R says:

PP’s research arm, Guttmacher, estimated that eliminating Hyde amendment would result in almost 30% increase in abortions by Medi-aid rescipient women. They clarify (whoopdie-doo…) that this translates to overall a less than 5% increase in nationwide abortions. An increase nonetheless. Besides, the way the economy is going, what with Obama opposed to economic growth and prosperity in the private sector, more and more women will be on the public dole and may consider abortions from the economic distress. [I thought the safety nets were to save babies from abortion due to economic distress. Sigh.]

So, the abortion crowd is on record that public funding will increases abortion. There is no way out of that fact for the dissenting, dissembling nuns and lay Catholics.

Arggghhh. Loads of typos above. Sorry.

  4. Thomas S says:

And this witch still hasn’t been excommunicated. Lord, send us strong bishops. Our current crop seem to take the “forgive 7 times 70 times” as their motto without the need for any sign of repentance from the other side.

    Lord, send us strong bishops.

  5. TomB says:

What would it take for a Catholic to be excommunicated? What public sin could one commit to cause it to happen? Is there anything at all?

  6. Sedgwick says:

Has Pelosi been denied Communion yet? Is this Archbishop Niederauer’s call? If so, what is he waiting for?

  7. gloriainexcelsis says:

From an unprovided death, deliver them, O Lord.

  8. kat says:

    Hmm
Exommunication. Wonder how often that has been used in the past 40 years? And who were the most noticeable and front-page cases?
I don’t think it was for any LIBERAL dissenters…

Sure would be nice to see it used now; but regardless of the formality, if one does not believe what the Church teaches, one is no longer a Catholic. God knows the Truth, even if Bishops are too weak to tell the world that Ms. Pelosi and ilk are NOT Catholic and have no right speaking as if they are.

But even if she and like kind were excommunicated, the only ones who would really defend such a step are those of us who know it’s necessary. I don’t think others would give one hoot. That doesn’t mean the bishops shouldn’t do it though. It is their duty, and they are shirking it.

Let us pray the Rosary daily for Holy Mother Church and Her leaders.

Pelosi can’t possibly ‘cut a deal’ with the anti-abortion dems who want assurance there will be no federal funding for abortions, because she has already cut a deal with the Devil to perpetrate Evil against the innocents and promote the culture of death. In my charity I will continue to pray for her.

True, but the Bishops need to publically excommunicate these people for the sake of the rest of the flock, especially those who are weak in knowledge of the faith. By doing nothing, the Bishops are only confusing people and allowing many to fall into sin.
