Heartland Catholic Podcast: Interview with Father Zuhlsdorf
After an exceptionally opinionated and interesting inaugural episode, the Heartland Catholic Podcast is back! In this episode we have a few comments about the previous podcast’s interview with Bishop Williamson, a roundup of Catholic news from the previous week, and an interview with Father John Zuhlsdorf: priest, author, blogger, and liturgical commentator. We ask him about Summorum Pontificum, what it was meant to address, what does it mean, and what will be its effect on the Church. You have a wonderful speaking voice. Easy to listen to and smooth.
After your interview the male and female commentators raised an interesting question.
They wondered, as I do, how the Novus Ordo Mass can inform the Tridentine Mass in an orthodox manner. The reverse of this is certainly recognizable, but I, like the male interviewer, do not see the Novus Ordo Mass having a good effect on the older form.
