YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

Registered or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Many requests are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below. You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have a pressing personal petition. Actually… two.

Pray for the poor suffering Christians in Iraq!

Sts. Nunilo and Alodia, pray for us!

Also, please pray for a priest friend who is under HUUUUUUGE pressure at the moment for something that is of great importance.

-K’s family in this time of uncertainty about his future.
-our 3 sons, transitioning to (1)junior year at university; (2)a very secular community college from home school; (3) year 2 at high school seminary ~ for their discernment, discipline and spiritual protection…
-my grandma who is in a great deal of pain and ready to enter eternity as God wills…
-a local priest who left his post and a brother priest who came to replace the vacancy and care for the parish
    -2 pressing personal intentions

Please pray for the soul of my grandmother, Mary, who passed away last Sunday; and for my family which is going through a difficult time for the above and other reasons.

  4. Mike says:

For my neighbor B. who, after struggling with equilibrium problems for some months, is now in the hospital recovering from a fairly severe stroke that she suffered the weekend before last.

For my friend C., diagnosed last winter with MS and now coming to terms with SSA. As he is also confronting spiritual emptiness in his life, I have taken the opportunity to share my Eucharistic faith with him, and make bold to ask that we pray for his conversion.

For my wife, who is travelling on business.

    For a private intention.

  7. For all my kids, most of whom are adult. Each one having his own struggle. A few have converted, but most are not. (there are seven). Some of them are in very scary (to me) and dark places. I am afraid for their souls.

  8. JesusFreak84 says:

My family….just….yeah….I think Mom’s side is living proof of multi-generational demonic influence. And for a few conversions and for another friend to get their butt to Confirmation (family baptized the person Catholic, but then the family fell away from the Faith before any of the kids were Confirmed.)

  9. DavidMichael says:

For our daughter who has been suffering from panic attacks. For my father who has Parkinson’s.
For a health issue of my own, as well as discernment for my job search.

  10. wanda says:

Please pray for the return of family members to the Church and to the sacraments, especially for
little ones who have not been baptized, yet. Never in my wildest dreams could I envision anyone in our family not having their children baptised. Please pray the parents hearts will be moved to bring their children to be baptized into new life in Jesus Christ. I will keep everyone elses intentions in my prayers.

  16. LeslieL says:

I promise I always pray for priests – and I will include your needs and certainly the needs of your friend in particular in my prayers, Fr. Z….and I will pray for all here.
I ask again that you keep a very special intention for a dear young priest friend of mine, Fr. JM, in your heart and prayers. It is important…..
And I ask if you would say a prayer for another young friend of mine – 2 year old Paige. Paige has been diagnosed with Leukemia, and is undergoing intensive chemotherapy as I write.
I am loathe to ask for a prayer for myself, but maybe just this once :-) I have been diagnosed with both Lyme Disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Just a tiny prayer, if you could.
    God bless you all!

  17. Supertradmum says:

For me, please, as I wander the Western world, as God has not seen fit to “plant me” anywhere. And, for my son, as seminary life is hard these days; also that he gets some financial help. He has been living on quesadillas for some time and his poor mum cannot help him. Thank you and prayers for all here.

  18. yatzer says:

Prayers said for all. And of your charity please pray for my newly adolescent grandson, who is gravitating to the “exciting” characters in middle school and who will likely lead him to very dark places if he doesn’t change course.

  19. Torpedo1 says:

Praying for all on this thread. Please pray for a personal intention of mine.

  20. The Sicilian Woman says:

All above, and those yet to post this week, will be added to my Rosary. (Hugs to you, VexillaRegis!)

For IsaacH and his wife, who welcomed a baby girl with severe defects from which she will pass soon, and for the child’s peaceful passing into heaven.

For baby KTB, born with a health problem which will hopefully be healed soon, and for her mother’s recovery from her C-section and stress from her baby’s illness.

For LM, for healing from her crippling anxiety.

For AS and RS, who have conceived after 8 years of infertilty struggles, and for their unborn baby.

For the father of our beloved pastor, Fr. H., who is very ill.

Lastly, for me, for a miracle for my long-term legal battle to turn fully in my favor, and be resolved as well, in an impending meeting this Friday, and for God’s guidance and protection in my employment and job search.

    Thank you.

  21. tradcathwife says:

    Desperate for a miracle!
I’m a wife and mother of 7 the youngest are 2. I am barely holding it together! We are drowning and heaven seems to be closed to our many prayers, novenas, sacrifices, and pleadings!
My husbands income has continually gone down for 6 years but last year has been the worst! Last November our income went down another 200.00 a WEEK. A month ago we lost the gas saver he was driving and now our money goes for gas which means for a month our bills are getting farther behind. On top of the fact we can not even make it week to week now we have to move. May God please have mercy on us. Please pray I don’t lose faith that He dose have plan. Please pray I can keep my hope and my children’s hope alive. Pray for me to be able to keep praying, hoping and believing.
    Thank you,
    Me

Adding all of the above to my daily rosary and intentions for the canonization of the Blessed John Henry Newman, plus other specific sought intercessions where appropriate.

    Please include:
a good friend, T, who traveled to China today, that God may continue to lead him and keep him safe, and that his efforts may bear fruit for Our Lord and His Church.

For my daughters, M and E, that they be kept safe from the wiles of this world, from enemies both seen and unseen, and be turned to God and reunited with me.

For the conversion of my close friends J and L + families, who are both just a step away if only they should take it, and that I might have the wisdom to help them where God wills it.

We were blessed with a van Friday as in given! That was/is a wonderful miracle/blessing as it will help with what we have had to spend on gas in the suburban!
Also it was a major faith booster for all of us!
Please do keep the prayers coming though…….as we are a long way out of the woods!
