I’m scared sheetless looking at that!

  2. Michael says:

    Look, it’s an ordination tambourine!

  3. Clinton R. says:

Yes, truly scary, Father. Almost as equally frightening is its cousin, the spirit of the Synod. Happy All Hallow’s Eve.

  4. Warren says:

Boo! As in, right on… man. Is that boo-ze in his right hand? A spirit with spirits? And, how is it that it has hands?

  5. MarkJ says:

    Get the taser!

  6. jflare says:

At first glance, I took this to be someone dressing up like a Klan member. Terrifying indeed.

  7. Mariana2 says:

Is that a tambourine I see before me, the handle toward my hand?!

  8. MaryL says:

    Zeitgarst

  9. MaryL says:

    Zeitgeist

  10. bobk says:

From whence does this spirit proceed??

  11. Legisperitus says:

For a friendlier ghost, I’d recommend the Spirit of Lateran IV.

  12. MikeM says:

Ha! I wish that I had thought of that!

  13. Rocha90 says:

I wonder if he’s friends with [K]asper….the “friendly” ghost.

  14. Stephen Matthew says:

I was a guest at a seminary Halloween party last night, and one of the seminarians did a Spirit of Vatican II for the costume competition. His version looked far more flower childish and considerably less Klanish than that.

  15. In the words of Count Floyd: “That was scaaaary, boys and girls!”

  16. JonPatrick says:

I think the glass is to use as a chalice for the Precious Blood, or to use correct SOV2 terminology “a cup for the communion wine”.
