Whilst here in Glasgow it was 4 below last night…

    Roll on spring!

  2. Raphaela says:

And here in the Alps we’re officially calf-deep in snow!

  3. Fabrizio says:

Even the “Regina Viarum” was white with snow this morning at dawn…

..and so was a good part of the Latium Vetus around!

  4. Jon says:

Yesterday I left Pennsylvania, with 8 inches of slush on the ground. This morning I’m in Atlanta. The dogwood and forsythia are in bloom, and the temp’s supposed to top out at 78F.

I knew it was spring somewhere!

  5. You could have fooled me.

    Brrrrrrrrrr!

  6. Argent says:

Achoo, achoo, happy, achoo, spring! * sniffle * And now, time for a Claritin break.

  7. Janet says:

Here in Alabama, spring is in full bloom and it’s gorgeous! It’s hard to imagine how someone can look at all this and remain an atheist…. God is so evident everywhere!

  8. Karen Russell says:

Here in Nova Scotia we have brilliant sunshine. But there is snow on the ground and the temperature is all of -7 C, with a wind chill of -16 C.

This is a little colder than “normal” but not much.

  9. Guy Power says:

Here I am wearing a polo shirt at the office! Northern California is “almost Heaven” … except for all the uber-liberals.

    Is it a “new springtime”?

  11. pjsandstrom says:

Is not the equinox really ‘mid-spring’? as the solstices are really
‘mid-summer’ and ‘mid-winter’? Otherwise John the Baptist’s Nativity and
Christmas have got it wrong — and so does Shakespeare (Mid-Summer Night’s
    Dream).
