I had the same thoughts. I do not know where to watch the papal updates and ultimate announcement. Suggestions?
I noticed that also. Raymond and the papal posse are appearing on Raymond’s podcast but not on EWTN as previously done. I miss Joan Lewis too.

I don’t know the politics of it, but the “Papal Posse” are doing the unfortunately named Arroyo Grande podcast on YouTube. Meanwhile, the woman on EWTN is in keeping with its liberal turn. The middle guy is an EWTN official (in keeping with its policy of acting as if Doug Keck were the Creator).
Though they will still have the Thursday night show.
Raymond started a new YouTube or podcast called Arroyo Grande.
The regular papal posse joins him.
I know Mother Angelica was irreplaceable but I’ve always thought EWTN lacked a succession plan during her decline in old age. We went from a habit to the suits and the network lost some of the charisma of consecrated life.
Now perhaps Arroyo is building a separate empire.
Its my understanding, johntenor, that the transition from the “habit” to the “suits” was quite a deliberate move by Mother Angelica to ensure the independence of the network from the American episcopate. Laymen, though required a certain obedience to the episcopate, do not labor under the same threat as do those in the clerical or religious state.
I’m afraid that Mother’s plan might not have worked out as she hoped.
How much of this comes from the Bishop of EWTN’s See?
The Register also seems to have become slanted. Their 2024 presidential election coverage was confusing at best. They fell all over themselves to make it appear that a vote for Trump was equally as bad as a vote for Kamala.
