Remember… the TLM must not be allowed to spread.

Because there’s one “unique” Roman Rite.
At least in regard to this video, if you don’t speak German, your brain damage from seeing it will be somewhat lessened.
And here’s CHICAGO!

Those videos show embarrassing and infuriating abuses, distortions, and desecrations of the liturgy. All such displays should be sternly rebuked and corrected by the local ordinaries.
All of the Church’s liturgical norms should be adhered to when celebrating Mass. Most recently, “Desiderio desideravi” stresses the importance of proper liturgical formation and ars celebrandi for the whole Church.
Ignorance and poor habits in celebrating liturgy are ubiquitous and have a lot of inertia behind them, so celebrating Mass everywhere with the dignity and sacredness it deserves will be arduous and time-consuming work.
Gayandretarded in Spanish and German (never Latin).
Regarding the German video, I didn’t know the Reverend Jim from Taxi is now doing the Catholic schtick. Bedauerlich!
?! What in the name of all that is holy were these?
Even using the notion that the Mass is a communal meal, that meal is being hosted by and celebrated for Our Lord. I would ask those priests and people if this is how they would behave and dress before Him, the Savior and Redeemer of the world, if they went to His House?
These “celebrations” are so Protestant and secular that someone would need to actually tell me they were Catholic because I wouldn’t even think that about them.
And some in the Church are concerned about why the TLM is becoming more popular. This is why!
My heart hurts seeing those videos.
I must admit, Father, that the videos above turned my stomach.
What’s next? The Who performing “We Won’t Get Fooled Again” at a so-called “mass” in Leeds?

Watching these videos amounts to torture. I was unable to watch the video from Münster past the first genuflection (at least it was there). Too much ugliness and that hymn was mind numbing. Cardinal Clemens August Graf von Galen (the Lion of Münster) must be turning in his grave over this.
I particularly liked how, in the german, that when the band was playing, the camera would pan to the crucifix and I could meditate on the suffering Jesus.
Also noticed that their memorial acclamation was poetic. We missed out.
I do say that the reflection from the narrator guy at around communion time on the stations of the cross was touching. Perhaps the highlight of the whole video.
Otherwise, I enjoyed the penance.
And none of this is a “spectacle”?
