That made me laugh so hard that I cried; and I’m a cat person…

  2. Cute! I’m not a cat person, but I felt bad for the cat who got shoved…ow, heh!

  3. suikojay says:

    LOL! That is all.

  4. APX says:

Seems about right. Those cats…don’t trust ’em.

  5. wanda says:

Ha, ha! Thanks for the laugh out loud. Full disclosure, I’m a life long cat person. That’s so funny.

  6. Random Friar says:

Domini canes=Dominicans=Dogs of the Lord. We try to gently convince the listener of the Truth and come to know the knowledge of God.

Cats=Jesuits. Pope Francis is a cat, but a cat who thinks he’s a dog.

  7. StJude says:

    Yep!

  8. Ichabod says:

I’ve always chuckled at the following dog-cat comparison:

When you get up in the morning and feed your pet, a dog looks up to you and thinks,
“He comes, finds my food and pours it for me; He must be a god.”
    A cat thinks,
“He comes, finds my food and pours it for me; I must be a god.”

That cat is SO not a helicopter parent! I want both the dog and the cat to write conflicting parenting books and confuse us all.

  10. Sandy says:

Thank you, Father! I also needed a good laugh! I’m a dog person, so when I see cats do these things it cracks me up. Some really funny ones show up on America’s Funniest Videos.

  11. Cats have claws, 9 lives, and are acrobats. They need no one. Stop judging. Silly humans.

Thanks for the laugh Father. I love dogs AND cats.

  12. LeslieL says:

I grew up with both cats and dogs – my da used to swear people would drop them off so that my ma would take them in – and she did. Always. And now I have both cats and dogs….one of the funniest things I ever saw was the sign that said “My dog thinks he’s human. My cat knows he’s God.” But I wouldn’t trade any of them – they are both different and loving and amusing and wonderful all in their own way.
If you want a really GOOD laugh – check out “Henri, le Chat Noir” on YouTube. I think you’d really love it….and thanks for the giggle today, Fr. Z!
