More from the Religion of Peace

In the meantime, as I contemplate my problems and the challenges I face these days, I read this at Gateway Pundit:

“Adulteress” Begs ISIS to See Her Children Before Her Execution – ISIS Shoots Her in Head Instead

This video was posted this week on Islamic twitter accounts.
An “adulteress” is filmed begging ISIS militants to see her children before her execution.
The barbarians shot her in the head instead.

The video is here.
Judge, jury, executioner – Life under ISIS.

isis-execution

She probably accidentally allowed her eyes to be visible and someone saw her look somewhere… therefore… adultery.  Isn’t that how it goes?

Sts. Nunilo and Alodia, pray for us.

St. Lawrence of Brindisi, pray for us.

Daily. I pray that God will utterly destroy ISIS.
    Am I wrong?
God intervened in the battle of Lepanto. Why should He not intervene now? The evil of the decimation created in Nigeria, with the town of Bono being completely wiped out and over 2000 people massacred simply makes me cry out “How long, my God, how Long??
On another blog someone asked if we should be called Islamophobes and pointed out that the Greek word Phobo is irrational fear. It was then that the question was asked if we ought to have a better word to describe what we think about the Islamists. I suggested Islamapporito which says “I reject Islam”.

    “Women’s health”, under Moo-ham&Ed?

  3. YoungLatinMassGuy says:

Coming to a safe American suburb near you, yah kafir.

(If you don’t understand those last two words, don’t worry, with things going the way they are, you will.)

I can’t help but think back to another fellow who was shown a woman caught in adultery who was about to be executed. He scribbled some things on the ground, then he looked around, and said “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone…”

Jesus, brings people from death to life.

mohammed, sent people from life to a horrific death.

  4. polycarped says:

    Simply diabolical.

  5. Muv says:

It seems we are all being plunged into an ever darker nightmare. Perhaps we should take some hope from the fact that the criminals in Paris started their murderous spree on the feast of St. Raymond of Penyafort, who worked tirelessly for the conversion of the Moors in 13th century Spain. I have been sending prayers up to him, and to Jesus Infinitely Holy All-Divine.

  6. Akita says:

And in Nigeria the murderous thugs killed a woman as she was giving birth to a baby boy. Read more at Jihad Watch.

  7. tealady24 says:

Our Lord knew there was evil and He told us to pray “but deliver us from evil.” I think we’ve found it. Never mind the death camps, these “people” have everyone beat.
And they’ve got all the trappings of Western society in their hands!
    Ignorance trumps all.

  8. SKAY says:

    ” yah kafir.”

    Urban Dictionary–
Qur’an 5:37 “The Christian disbelievers (Kafir will long to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out there from; and theirs will be an enduring torture.”.

    The picture of evil.

  9. Woody79 says:

THIS IS ISLAM FOLKS. LOOK AT THESE MEN. YOU SEE THEM EVERYDAY HERE IN THE STATES. LOOK AT THE WOMAN. YOU SEE HER EVERYDAY HERE IN THE STATES. REMEMBER, THE TERRORISTS WHO HIJACKED THE PLANES ON 9/11 WERE JUST YOUR FRIENDLY MUSLIM NEIGHBORS FOR THE YEARS LEADING UP TO THE ATTACK. THEY ARE VERY PATIENT WITH THEIR WICKED AND EVIL WAYS.

  10. Sonshine135 says:

Our world leaders are ostriches. They have their heads buried in the sand and do not understand that the weak posture portrayed by them has emboldened ISIS to begin World War III. Terror cells throughout the world have become active. Your “friendly Muslims”, even in this country, today will be desecrating your corpse tomorrow while shouting Allah Akbar. Paris was just the start of a very sad wake up call I believe. Perhaps we can send the LCWR to dialogue with them. Those that gladly shun the habit will likely be overjoyed to dawn the burqa .

  11. Akita says:

Sorry, I don’t know how to link via my device, but per the London Evening Standard a report of Boko Harum killing a woman as she gave birth.

  12. CrimsonCatholic says:

It appears that the Muslims are the ones with the “war on women”.

Why is it that liberals support and defend the Muslims so much?

  13. acardnal says:

There were also videos broadcast yesterday of ISIS throwing accused homosexuals off of a high-rise building while alive and blindfolded.

  14. Baritone says:

So where’s the guy who should also be punished for adultery? It takes two, right?

  15. Paul Young says:

Lord have mercy on the soul of your daughter. She was no doubt misguided and raised by these sort of people. Look kindly on her soul and please deliver her children from the hand of evil and bring them to the knowledge of Christ. Amen.

  16. RAve says:

Allow me to note that it has been said: “Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.”

  18. Theodore says:

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die: but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.”

Winston Churchill, The River War, 1899

We can only pray that this evil religion declines and disappears.

  20. jacobi says:

    Father,
Islam is not a religion of peace, in spite of what Muslim propagandists argue to the contrary. Equally, they argue that is a religion that respects women. Well, if using women as a “tilth to be used by a man as he will”, or to “scourge disobedient wives” is respects?

The trouble is the Koran and suras are contradictory as was Mohamed himself (as per naskh) and you can take out of them what you will, and what suits you. The murderers of the Charlie Hebdo staff have full justification from their writings for what they did. It was orthodox Islam. Equally the murderers of the Jews in the supermarket who murdered Jews just because they were Jews, may or may not have been “fanatics”, but they were perfectly justified in so doing by the writings of their religion.

No doubt this would equally apply when it comes to the murder of this woman .

  21. Roguejim says:

So, are we Christians expected to lie down like “lambs” in the face of this evil, and simply pray and hope God will intervene, or to pray while bearing arms to fight this evil?

  22. Justalurkingfool says:

Indeed, it seems merciless and cruel on the part of such an executioner but where is actual adultery, merciful or compassionate? A shot to the head seems more merciful that being stoned to death; does it not? That is what Jesus addressed. Nor, do I recall reading descriptions in the bible, or any other reasonable sources, wherein Jesus interrupted any ongoing stonings to stop them. It seems reasonable to believe more than one stoning occurred during his adult lifetime or even during his active ministry.

As a spouse who knows well the barbarity of long term, unrepentant adultery and the very real consequences of those who support it, excuse it or simple avoid addressing it in their midst, even treating cohabiting unrepentant adulterers as married couples when the truth, exactly, is well known, in public, I am less quick to judge the executioner here, especially IF he is dealing with unrepentant, obstinate, adultery. Yet, certainly, life must be defended, even in the face of such destructive sin as adultery.

In both the secular society at large and in the Catholic Church, there is little to no mercy for the victims of adultery, be they the abandoned spouse, the children of the marriage or the children of the adultery. All of them are victims. That, alone, should bring horrendous judgement upon both, if God is truly merciful.

Perhaps we should learn from this depiction, of the seriousness of defending marriages, especially against attacks against marriage from the hierarchy, in whatever position they occupy.

Apparently they do not know nor care about the true facts. It is all about hate and destruction.

  24. aquinas138 says:

A prayer from Orthodox sources I think of the more I read about ISIS, Boko Haram, et al.:

Prayer to the Most Holy Mother of God “The Softener of Evil Hearts”

“O much-sorrowing Mother of God, more highly exalted than all other maidens, according to thy purity and the multitude of thy suffering endured by thee on earth: Hearken to our sighs and soften the hearts of evil men, and protect us under the shelter of thy mercy. For we know no other refuge and ardent intercessor apart from thee, but as thou hast great boldness before the One who was born of thee, help and save us by thy prayers, that without offence we may attain the Heavenly Kingdom where, with all the saints, we will sing the thrice-holy hymn to One God Almighty in the Trinity, always now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.”

This is the concluding prayer of an Akathist to be said before an icon of the Theotokos, “Softener of Hearts,” which is very much like the Western “Our Lady of Sorrows.” Appropriate, as surely nothing short of the intervention of God Almighty can convert the hearts of these monsters. It’s hard to remember that as we watch radical Islamists commit fresh outrages daily that they, too, need prayers for their conversion and the salvation of their souls, which God created and loves despite their monstrous deeds. Every day they advance their Satanic agenda brings new crimes and ever more hardened hearts.

    Most holy Theotokos, save us!

  25. Priam1184 says:

Those who belong to the Catholic Church, its laymen and its prelates, must STOP proclaiming the imbecilic false gospel of religious freedom which was foisted on the world by men who were bitter enemies of the Catholic religion and START proclaiming the whole and entire unvarnished Truth as handed down to us by our Lord through the apostles. The day that we begin to do that will be the beginning of the end of this problem.

  26. Nun2OCDS says:

Violence begets violence. It is very disappointing to find on your blog a link to such a one man judge-jury execution. It is enough that we have so much on TV and in movies. It is not necessary to show the real deal. Why not also show the rape of the Christian women? Words suffice. Please, no more real-life murders or executions. Show the “Last Judgment” instead.

  27. The Cobbler says:

I wonder if Twitter has methods to combat this sort of publicization via their medium.

God’s blessings of peace and joy!

“Violence begets violence.” — and yet no matter how graphic the evidence, people are not move to do something or we have become numb or since it does not affect us, we do not care. The story in Australia and France have received wide media coverage and yet, the atrocities in Syria, Iraq, Nigeria, Somalia, Kenya, Pakistan and etc were hidden. What see on TV and movies are selective. Real pain and suffering of the victims are hidden and we have put “values” on people as who gets the media coverage.

Fr Z just put the story that needs our prayer and hopefully some action on our part. Truth are disappointing. It hurts but we have to know. It took Abby Johnson to see a video to change her mind and heart on abortion which I still could not understand as I have always believe life begins at conception and that, we are God’s image and likeness, His Temple, His Dwelling place.

I do think that Fr Z is courageous in posting this.

God’s blessings of peace and joy!

  30. iamlucky13 says:

Because I stay informed through the modern media and keep up on political commentary, I recognize that Muslims killing people for religious reasons is an extreme rarity, committed by isolated individuals or small extremist cells. I refuse to let this single incident cloud my impression of Islam.

The man in the picture no doubt fired the shot and then fled, as those around him must have been planning to apprehend him. Since Islam is the religion of peace, I know they were not supporters of his. Or perhaps he was merely defending himself from western oil profiteering, and he’s being unfairly portrayed as a terrorist.

In contrast, Catholics are constantly bombing abortion clinics, assassinating doctor’s, and forcing themselves into private citizens’ bedrooms to sabotage their contraception. Then again, is this any surprise in an organization who’s charitable contributions are less than $200 billion in most years?

In fact, over the last 30 years alone, more Catholic priests have been credibly accused of child sexual abuse in a country of merely 300 million people than the number of Muslims who have killed people northern Iraq and southern Syria combined going all the way back to last Thursday.

Similar statistics help re-assure us not to apply the self-righteous generalizations we direct at Catholics at Boko Haram in Nigeria; Hezbollah in Lebanon; Hamas in Palestine; Al Shabaab in Somalia, Etheopia, and Kenya; Abu Sayyaf, MILF, and others in the Philippines; the Taliban in Pakistan and Afghanistan; Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, and others in India, the Arab Mujahideen in Chechnya, and all the other peaceful groups I’m forgetting at the moment.

I apologize that my digression does not respect the gravity of the picture. It’s just that when I see the contrast between how the media treats Islam in the face of Islamist terrorism on one hand, and acts like excerpting casual remarks by the Pope about how it’s unwise to provoke crazy people in a way that makes it sound like he made an official declaration that the recent attacks in France were justified on the other hand, I get a bit touchy.

May this woman rest in peace, and God provide for her family.

Meanwhile, the demented man who is the current POTUs, advises Europe regards Mohammedans. (The proper term is Mohammedans),

    http://www.straitstimes.com/news/world/united-states/story/europe-needs-better-integrate-muslim-communities-obama-20150117

Who picked Obama years ago to reach this height? The man isn’t fit to be dog catcher. Yet this thing became POTUS. Old whatshisname had a say in this, surely he did.

  32. JustaSinner says:

How does this fit in with Pope Francis the Only’s world view of not criticizing other faiths? Guess HE won’t be the Pope calling for the Second Crusade….guess I will have to change the moniker to Pope Francis the Yellow.

  33. While these REAL atrocities are occurring, the coward Obama ignores these and vents his energies fighting what? . . . the American citizen. Attacking marriage, redesigning our entire capitalist structure beginning with the car industry, onto the health industry, now the energy industry, next the wholesale destruction of our borders as he implements his lawless amnesty while declaring American freedom loving conservatives as his sworn enemies; and ISIS . . . to Obama, he thinks he has them on the run . . . somehow, somewhere in that meandering imagination of his.

Unfortunately a lot of Catholics voted for him -both times. In 2008 a Jesuit(involved with Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good) from New Orleans was
on a local TV channel in my area basically campaigning for him.

  36. Grateful to be Catholic says:

You have to watch the video to catch the executioner’s practiced casualness. He has dispatched many, many victims. It is the work of a moment. Here is a good explanation for what is going on in their minds: http://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/islams-demotion-of-reason/.

  37. Justalurkingfool: My deepest sympathies for your suffering. Let me also, however, draw your attention to Matthew 5:28, and wonder aloud (albeit sarcastically, as I know the answer all too well) whether any man who has ever had an impure thought would be executed like this. Certainly not–see the activities in the days leading up to 9/11 of the cowards who hijacked planes full of innocent civilians to kill more innocent civilians.

As to the ghastly description of Boko Haram’s latest crimes in Nigeria, I would point out that the woman in question probably had the temerity to not be wearing a burkha or even a hijab while giving birth.

Sometimes, it’s a question of screaming “Why, God, why?!” or using sarcasm as a defense mechanism. Apparently, today is a day for the latter in this neck of the woods.

  38. Justalurkingfool says:

    Dear Pie and Palestrina,

I believe that there is a significant difference in sin of the mind and sin in the act. Granted, both are sinful but I would rather have someone think about sexually assaulting me than someone actually doing it. BIG DIFFERENCE.

I mentioned this description, “unrepentant, obstinate, adultery” which presumes physical adultery…I hope. Sorry, I do not really have the desire to watch the video.

But, my oldest daughter would likely say that none of us is worthy and were it not for the mercy of our creator, who sent His Son to provide THE WAY, we all would suffer in separation from God, minus any hope at all, for eternity. Its difficult, if one is actually a practicing Catgholic….or close, to find fault with that.

My main point was that marriage must be protected more than it is currently.

“My deepest sympathies for your suffering.”

It could be worse. Thank you.
