YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

Registered or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Many requests are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

Something is up. I’m getting many more requests for prayers than last year at this time

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below. You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have a pressing personal petition.

  2. TNCath says:

For my dear girls who have rejected or left the Faith: that they will experience a change of heart and be converted.

  3. Bridget says:

May Almighty God assist our family of 7 secure housing.
May our current ongoing financial struggles and foreclosure on our home of 17+ years bring us closer to Him and to one another.

Praise God for hearing and answering our prayers for one another, and for Father Z hosting & sharing these pressing prayer requests…

  4. Supertradmum says:

For my continued housing need which is only temporarily met, and also, for two families I know personally which have been torn apart by the recent SCOTUS decision with divisions occurring at family gatherings over the weekend. Those who took a stand for the traditional definition of marriage in these families are now being ostracized by siblings and adult children. In addition, two of my friends lost business customers because of discussions brought up by their customers on ssm.

  5. Chris Garton-Zavesky says:

    For our daily bread.

We’ve been praying to the Infant of Prague, and He hasn’t failed us, because God can’t be unfaithful…. but sometimes it’s nail-bitingly close.

  6. knute says:

I have a close family member whose marriage is in trouble. I also have a dear friend who just miscarried her baby. Please pray for them, and please pray for my wife and me that we are able to have children. God bless.

I ask for prayers for my beautiful granddaughter who at the age of 17 just had a “surprise” baby boy. (none of us knew, not even her parents) The baby is fine, but she is having complications as it was a very difficult birth.
We are grateful to God for his goodness. We could have lost them both.

  9. Mike says:

For the Brother Rector of the lay Brothers of the Little Oratory in Washington, D.C., that an upcoming surgical procedure to correct his cardiac arrhythmia will be successful.

  10. MrsMacD says:

For S who needs a better home.
For A who’s mother won’t talk to her because she has promised herself to God and won’t consider marriage.
For M’s family, for peace in their home and for her husband to find/keep a job.
For the purity of my boys (and girls).
For C to heal for her pain to go away.
For V’s family that they’ll be left in peace from nosey neighbours.
For M’s rheumatoid arthritis to let up, for an increase of gentleness, kindness and peace in her heart
That K finds and follows her vocation
That L and D find peace in living with their illnesses.
For L that her illness will bring her closer to God
(Thank you for all that prayed for us to have a home, we’re, very happily, settled now.)

For myself, I request your prayers–I made a series of poor decisions, and I am praying that I can weather the storm it has created without personal loss and letting my family down. Thank you

  16. Sandy says:

Please pray for my grandson, G. My daughter is worried about his spending so much time alone, perhaps b/c of an eye problem, the divorce, or depression. We just don’t know. He’s an A student, but is transitioning to high school, which is another difficult time. Thank you, Father Z. Prayers for all of you.

  18. JesusFreak84 says:

    For a friend to return to the Faith…or come to it for the first time, if this person was merely “raised” Catholic in the same sense that I was… And that I may remember part of my rule of night prayer, (from the Byzantine tradition,) “Forgive me if I have said indecent things or laughed at the sin of my brother without discerning my own sins, which are great in number.” Yes, these two are related -_-;;;

  19. Allan S. says:

For the lovely couple C and G, who are getting married in september!
For my severely battered parish, that we get a new priest, who doesn’t have a volatile and bad temper.
    For a personal intention.

    Peace be with you.

Will you please join me in praying for:
