YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

PLEASE use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

This time of year, close to Christmas, is a time of joy. Not everyone, however, has joyful news.  Some experience serious challenges.

In your charity would you please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

Let’s remember all who are ill, who will die soon, who have died recently, who have lost their jobs, who are afraid.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

In your kindness continue prayers for my mother, who has been diagnosed with something grave and incurable.

  1. Saint Rocco the Trubador says:

Humbly asking for prayers for myself (physically – dealing with a flareup of diverticulitis, and spiritually – for courage to move forward with a project to help build up and edify men in the Church).

Also asking for prayers for my niece, Maria, who has been living an abhorrent lifestyle – that she may turn away from her waywardness and turn back towards the Church of her infant baptism.

  2. Padre Pio Devotee says:

Intentions of and reparation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and His Holy Face, the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Chaste Heart of Good St. Joseph.

Restoration of the Holy Mother the Church, and for all bishops, priests, religious, seminarians and novices. And for an increase in vocations.

Restoration and conversion of our country, her leaders, and her peoples. For an end to all legalized sin.

For the release of the Holy Souls in Purgatory, especially the most abandoned and forgotten, and those furthest from Heaven.

Conversion of sinners and the enemies of God (and the crushing of their plans).

For the repose of the souls of M.E., B.S., and those who perished in the wildfires of Maui. For healing, peace, and charity to abound in Maui and for the temporal and spiritual needs of the people there.

The least, the lonely, and the last. And those whom are on the brink of despair, suicide, or contemplating abortion. Those who have no one to pray for them. All the intentions listed here and the intentions of all the readership.

For M.O., his conversion, eternal salvation, and healing of his progressing cancer. He is only in his early 30’s.

And those for whom I pray for daily and for my 54 Day Rosary novena petitions.
Deo Gratias! Mary thank you! St. Joseph thank you!

I was let go on November 1st and I had hoped that my job search would improve after the holidays were over. Alas, I haven’t even had a single phone screen, let alone a job interview. I’m not going to be able to keep my car through the summer if I don’t get a job soon.

  4. Honeybee says:

    Prayers for your mother.

  5. MichaelTheSlav says:

For my fianceé and myself, to aid our spiritual and temporal preparations for our wedding later this year. For the conversion of certain members of her family.

For the growth of Tradition in Poland.

Please pray to St. Stanislaus Kostka for us and our fellow students.

  6. Liz says:

Prayers for your mother, Father, and you and all here who post and read especially the really hard stuff. I still ask for prayers for my family especially a couple of fallen away sons.

Also, I wanted to say thank you. I had asked for prayers for fundraising for my son and his classmates, deacons soon to be ordained priests, God willing. I appreciate the prayers. It looked like they weren’t going to raise enough funds for awhile but generous people came forward both with small and large donations and things are looking better in that regard. It’s been really touching. The other day my son received a donation of a 17-year old young man from our church. It was a lot for such a young person. I was so impressed and touched. Aw.

Father, I’m trying to get into the habit of clicking on your website daily to go to Amazon because I often forget to do that until after I’ve ordered something from Amazon. Argh. Now I just try to click frequently just in case. I hope and pray that you get enough for your insurance. God bless you!

  7. Charivari Rob says:

Please pray for my aunt, uncle, their daughter, and daughter’s father-in-law, and their extended family.
The four have had separate runs of disease, accidents, injuries, surgeries, hidden conditions discovered, surgeries failed, pain, surgeries re-done, infections, etc… starting 12 months ago and the list only mounting since.
At the moment, one in physical rehab, two laid-up post-op, and one’s activities significantly curtailed. Two of them – we’ve feared for their lives at points in this.

  8. Anneliese says:

Please pray for the healing of my MS and improved mobility and balance. Please pray I have a fruitful Lent. Pray for the conversion of DDJ, LRR, ECC, HMM, and LD. Also, please pray for Shayne Smith. I don’t know him personally. He’s a comedian who converted to Catholicism. He’s had a rough life and gets a lot of flack from other Catholics because of his tattoos. He’s on fire for the faith. He’s a good example of someone who’s been through trauma but has managed to come out alive and still have joy.

  9. Sandy says:

Please pray for continued healing, body and soul, for my family (husband, children, grandchildren). There are too many needs to list individually, but one special petition is that the Lord will spare my husband from cancer returning, and to relieve him of some other difficulties.
May the Archangel Raphael’s healing balm heal all of us, and your mother, Father Z.
God bless and help us all.

  10. Sportsfan says:

I will have a rather delicate surgery on Tuesday to try to stop or slow a disease that has already robbed me of a favorite pastime and is threatening my career.
Please ask Blessed Ildefonso Schuster to pray for me. He has a recorded miracle of curing someone with my condition.

    God Bless you all.

  11. DvdH says:

    In thanksgiving for prayers answered.
I have my last radiotherapy session of 10 tomorrow, and as with the surgery, all has gone well, with no side effects, not even fatigue!
Still praying for you and your mother, Fr Z.

  12. Merelin says:

Please pray for my husband, who lost his job, and for our family. That God will bring him gainful employment quickly.

    Prayers for everyone here.

  13. UncleBlobb says:

Prayers for your mother, Father Z. It’s very hard.

    Prayers for all here.

My mother’s dementia is now pretty bad. She’s almost died recently from an infection. Now she is over that and in the increased care part of the nursing home way from my father, and needs a lot of care. It’s also very hard. There’s no on else to visit her often, or my father, and make sure she’s getting what she needs, so I’m doing it. I’m an old bachelor and am far from my house and for over a month and a half now with no end in sight. I’d planned to stay until Easter but it seems like I’ll be here much longer. Please pray.
