St. Agnes on a snowy night

Beautiful! There’s something about falling snow that seems supernatural, like grace falling from heaven. Oh, how we miss those snow flakes down here in 80 degree Florida. But then again, no heating bills :-) By the way, I used to attend St. Agnes church in NYC where they had the Indult Latin Mass since the beginning. I miss that holy experience too.

  3. Father: It’s snowing in St. Paul right now. Happy New Year!

The colors in the picture are beautiful–the purple is so beautiful with the warm glow of the church.

Did you take that photo, Father?

  7. Chironomo says:

Yes, its probably closer to 85 or so here in Sarasota FL… with the warm front coming through this morning, the humidity is also about 99%… kinda like snow but without the accumulation on the ground!

    FloridaJohn,

If you are in the SE Florida area, you are invited to attend Solemn First Vespers in the Classical Rite at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palm Beach Gardens at 7:00. No snow (I too am missing it — a Buffalo native). Hope to see you there. It’s our schola’s first service.

Michael O’Connor: Thanks for the invite! Unfortunately I’m over in Lake Country (Tavares). Maybe another day! Here’s my e-mail:

When you produce this on Christmas cards next year, I would like a box. :-)
