  1. Tim Ferguson says:

I have occasionally “gotten jiggy” with the elevator music, when alone.

what’s my penance, Father? [Write more parody songs.]

  2. tj says:

While I haven’t bust a move in elevators, on occasion I do break out alone in my room.

What exactly is “krumping”? This is sad: I’m a college student–I should know these things.

Anyways, thank you Father, for introducing us to Savage Chickens. I have now have him in my Google Reader feed.

  3. John Enright says:

I hope I’m not in the minority, but I just don’t understand “Savage Chickens” most of the time, Father. This one in particular.

  4. Rudy of CC says:

Will someone please explain the meaning of krumping.

  5. Maureen says:

According to Wikipedia, “Krumping is a relatively new urban street dance-form that began in South Central Los Angeles and is characterized by free, expressive, and highly energetic moves involving the arms and chest. It has become a major part of hip hop dance culture.”

  6. Peg says:

I’m with you John…it must be my age (old)!

  7. John Enright says:

Thanks, Peg. I think we’re probably in the same age category. Father Z is also in my age range, and he like “Savage Chickens.” I hope he can help me to see the humor in it!

  8. Peg says:

John…I don’t know about you but Fr. Z. looks pretty great for being in his 60s. That’s where I am. Although I have children (and grandchildren) who try to keep me up to speed, this “Savage Chicken” thing has me floored

  9. Daniel Kirkland says:

Make that two college kids, tj (well, graduated in May), who are at a loss.

    Fr. Z in his 60s??? No way…

  10. John Enright says:

After 40, we’re all in the same bracket.

  11. Mary Rose says:

In case you’d want to follow the dancing chicken. :-)
