Thank you Cardinal Burke and Father Z (and Bishop Athanasius Schneider). I don’t think you realize just how much your shepherding in these times is helping those of us paying attention and trying to draw closer to and do what is pleasing to our Lord. You are ever in my prayers.

I love Cardinal Burke, along with many millions of others. Thank you for the beautiful and encouraging message that reinforces the need for faithfulness to Holy Mother Church with which you and many other courageous shepherds continue to encourage us. As the wickedness of much of the hierarchy continues to be revealed, and the all out assault on the Deposit of Faith continues apace, we sorely need to hear this repeated as often as possible as we sometimes teeter on the edge of despair. I am reminded of Aragon’s speech to the faithful warriors at the Black Gate. “Men of the West, this day we fight.”

  3. JPaulZ says:

Thank you. The Catholic Church and I are blessed with Cardinal Burke and you Father Z. I pray for both of you every day. God bless you.

  4. God bless the good Cardinal. He was a great help to me when he was the Bishop of La Crosse, and he still strikes me as a true shepherd.

    Where else would we go?

  6. Kathleen10 says:

So kind of him to offer such a consolation. It is comforting to hear from our few faithful bishops. I fear to name them because of course they will be targeted from within the church for daring to give comfort and aid to the enemy.

  7. Zephyrinus says:

Thank You and God Bless, Cardinal Burke.

Thank You and God Bless, Fr. Z.

As Our Lord said: “I am with you even until the end of the World” and “the Gates of Hell will not prevail against His Church”.

    Courage. And Prayer.

  8. Cornelius says:

I wish I could ask Cardinal Burke: do you think we’re at a point in the Church where human intervention to right the barque of St. Peter is no longer a reasonable possibility and we must look for direct divine intervention in some form?

Of course, he’s not an oracle so I suspect he would say that he doesn’t know . . . but if anyone was aware of any human course of action within the Church that had a reasonable chance of success it would be he, surely.
