FR. Z,
Speaking of you …. (great segue, thanks!).
I was listening to Al Kresta on Catholic Radio today during my commute. Mr. Kresta was interviewing Thomas Peters who blogs “The American Papist.” When asked which blogs Thomas reads, he said “Amy Welborn…. and Fr. Z for liturgical matters …”
Cheers!
So that’s what’s been happening to my comments! ;^)
Even death is stuck in front of a computer! Kinda feel bad for the guy.
Fr. Z:
I guess I’m doing pretty well since I don’t remember you deleting any of my comments ever and I’ve been around for a while. Then again, I have some very balanced opinions: vernacular should be extremely rare, drums, guitars, pianos, folksy tunes should be verboten, the choir should be in the back of the church, not in the front, auto-communion should be eliminated, girl altarboys is a no no, so is a “versus populum” celebration: just the kind of common sense opinions that all catholics can agree on. So there’s no need to delete anything.
Andreas,
Fr. Z’s butt must be feeling very warm after those comments you just made.
[delete][delete][delete]
That is hysterical! Very well done!
Never posted before but had to respond to this one because it was too funny. I assume Andreas was joking, considering the context of the post. :) LOL Definitely made me smile.
