You might want to try translate.google.com for a general, general idea, and then narrow it down with Italian dictionary sites. (There are some good ones.) It’s not the same as knowing Italian, of course, but you could probably get the gist.
Or maybe Fr. Z is just pointing this out for his Italian readers, of which I’m sure he has a few.

Maureen is right, Google Translate seems to give you a pretty good idea for Italian, even if it is a touch rough at times.
