Monstrous Soros spent $650K to tame US bishops

In one of the pretty good Musketeers of the ’70s, Card. Richelieu (Charlton Heston) is hoist on his own petard because of a carte blanche letter he gave to the femme fatale Milady. He does a momentary half face palm and in resignation says to D’Artagnan, “One must be careful of what one writes… and to whom one gives it”.  Thus he is in that moment the ironic embodiment of scripta manent.

And so we fast forward into the age of email.

We are hearing a lot about e-pistularum commercia right now.

LifeSite reports that devious agent of Hell George Soros spent 650k to influence bishops when the Pope visited these USA.

Soros (spit here) wanted to try to create a movement against bishops who didn’t line up with the opinions voiced by Francis that Soros favored.

Check it out to see which (non US) Cardinal – a close advisor of Pope Francis – is mentioned and which US bishops are also given some attention.

BREAKING: Leaked e-mails show George Soros paid $650K to influence bishops during Pope’s US visit

August 23, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) – Leaked emails through WikiLeaks reveal that billionaire globalist George Soros – one of Hilary Clinton’s top donors – paid $650,000 to influence Pope Francis’ September 2015 visit to the USA with a view to “shift[ing] national paradigms and priorities in the run-up to the 2016 presidential campaign.” The funds were allocated in April 2015 and the report on their effectiveness suggests that successful achievements included, “Buy-in of individual bishops to more publicly voice support of economic and racial justice messages in order to begin to create a critical mass of bishops who are aligned with the Pope.”

The monies were granted to two US entities that have been engaged in a long-term project, according to the report, of shifting “the priorities of the US Catholic church.” Grantees were PICO, a faith-based community organizing group, and Faith in Public Life (FPL), a progressive group working in media to promote left-leaning ‘social justice’ causes. Soros has funded left-wing causes the world over and was just found to have been funding an effort to eliminate pro-life laws around the globe.

[…]

The post operative report on the funding to influence the papal visit comes in the 2016 report entitled, Review Of 2015 U.S. Opportunities Fund. The Soros group was pleased with the result of their campaign and saw statements by various bishops against presidental candidates who are using “fearmongering” – likely a reference to the GOP lineup, and perhaps Trump specifically – as one outcome of their efforts. “The impact of this work and the relationships it has fostered can be seen in the broad range of religious leaders hitting pointedly back at presidential candidates for their use of fearmongering,” the report said.

Additionally, the summary report says their funding was helpful to counter “anti-gay rhetoric” in the media.

While it is always a bit of a shock to see names in print in these sorts of stories, it isn’t always a huge surprise.

I’ll bet this is just the tip of the iceberg.

How old is George Soros??? I mean, I feel like he is very old and should not still be such an influence in the world. Sigh.
God must be giving him a very long life in his right mind for time to repent.

The smoke of satan is quite thick in the modern Church. It suffocates the traditionalist while it fuels the progressive…

Agree. Where Soros is involved you can be sure that’s true. You have to wonder if the average citizen even knows who Soros is-let alone what he does and what he has done. Another person we need to be aware of is Saul Alinsky. A man greatly admired by Hillary Clinton. Read Rules for Radicals and then you can understand how someone like Pres Obama could get elected. Not once but twice. It may also be why Hillary Clinton has some chance of being elected. i hope not but i’m truly stunned by how many people ARE supporting her given how CORRUPT she and her husband are. Nobody cares? We’ve sunk that low?
thanks for posting. I saw the article on twitter but i didn’t want to go there without being sure it was a valid story. You post it-i believe it.

And our bishops — “sons” of the Apostles — even now that something such as THIS is made public, will remain silent, do nothing, permit relativism and outright anti-Christian teaching in their schools and even from their pulpits. “Keep the peace,” “Keep smiling,” “I’m OK, you’re OK!”

Young men out there following The Call to the priesthood, young priests who’ve not yet succumbed, follow the example of the vocal few of your ranks — the happy few who will stand before Our Lord and Our Lady with clear consciences — and ask Our Lady to form you as real priests of God. Seminary can be good, but, due to the huge influences of political correctness, you will not get The Fullness of The Faith there. Seminaries are too, too much controlled by “men” who go along with Soros! Who will be happy with Clinton!

Read JPII. Read Benedict. Read (the REAL) Vatican II. Read Cardinal Sarah. DON’T follow American/western bishops’ example or “teaching” — there is only ONE ‘food’ you are responsible for giving: as He told St Peter, “Feed My sheep” (ONLY with the food I give).

I thank Our Lord and Our Lady for the blessed few priests and bishops who are vocal.

It was disgusting to read this article earlier today. It was even more horrifying to read that OUR bishop is one of those mentioned in the article, but not a complete surprise. Your words previous to this blog entry are so correct, Father. Only those who are blind cannot see what is happening to our society and our Church. I read the other day what someone said about soon having our “invasion of Poland” moment, when the world can no longer deny this serious situation on every level for humanity. (For those who never heard that phrase, it refers to Europe being in denial about everything leading up to WWII.)

. . . Pope Soros or Pope Francis?

A terrible influence in the world. He has $ and he has agents. The foot soldiers he uses(like Black Lives Matter) are just useful idiots to him.Others, like Hillary Clinton, have his same world vision and seek the same thing he does.Power.

Bought and paid for. Back in the days of common sense, before our moral sensibilities were taken over by PC madness, we had a name for women who were bought and paid for, scripture identified them as well.
The churches are going to continue to empty. This weakness isn’t going to attract anyone to the faith nor inspire someone to get up early on Sunday and go to the trouble. We can listen to politically correct gas-baggery anywhere, and that’s what we are getting from NewChurch. I’d far prefer the church sell off property (but not to Muslims without tearing down buildings) and get smaller, than to capitulate to the likes of this evil man. And yeah, how old is this guy! Can somebody remind God he’s still here? Maybe He forgot him.

This quote that best sums up George Soros:

Serve Mammon or serve the Lord came to mind as I read this. Corruption within the church ranks never seems to go too far away. My hope is that the next Pope cleans this mess up. A little defrocking and excommunication actually is helpful at times. God disciplines those whom he loves.

  12. Moro says:

To be honest, I can’t imagine this actually influencing much. Most of the bishops who would take the money are rather liberal to begin with. And to be fair, Trump is acting like a buffon. The tone of this election is simply awful. I know many who won’t vote or who will vote third party or for Hillary instead of Trump and it has nothing to do with what the bishops say or don’t say.

  13. JesusFreak84 says:

I’m in no way shocked to find ++Cupich in that article. He’s a man after Soros’ own dark heart.

  14. zebedee says:

I wonder if the Prince of Darkness is awaiting Mr Soros’ inevitable demise with some trepidition at the prospect of old George launching a hostile takeover of Hell.

When I saw the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass used as a “publicity stunt” to make a political statement down at the US-Mexico border, I wondered if George Soros and his Open Society Foundations might have been instrumental. Now we have the evidence… Sancta Maria, Mater Ecclesiae, ora pro nobis!

  17. Aquinas Gal says:

Soros is 86. He’ll be gone soon enough, but in the meantime I’m praying the rosary that God will take away his influence.

not good but waiting for the other shoe to drop from wikileaks. As it is i think the DOJ and FBI are, for lack of a better way of putting it,buddies with the Clinton’s. The corruption even in our own government is unbelievable. If Soros doesn’t leave the planet soon-maybe the next President would extradite him to Russia. He’s wanted there. The workings of Soros are so clandestine it’s hard to say if he doesn’t have a predecessor waiting in the wings & his wealth wouldn’t end up there.

  19. boxerpaws63 says:

Side Note: Besides Soros(there is a saying that the devil works for him)other names to be aware of are Saul Alinsky and The Fabian Society.

  20. SKAY says:

“If Soros doesn’t leave the planet soon-maybe the next President would extradite him to Russia. He’s wanted there.”

Great idea boxerpaws63. If Trump is elected he may move on his own but probably not to Russia.
He has a lot of property in Argentina we have learned.
