I am rereading The Children of Men
It had been some years since I read the book but I remembered something very different from what I saw on the screen.
I have come to the conclusion that the movie was more than just a lousy movie, which it certainly was. It was a wicked movie. It was at times always rather dopey. Wicked + dopey = avoid.
If you are at all tempted to see this rotten film, for the love of God, get the book and read it first.
The book is great and very thought provoking.
