These photos are one of the reasons I like this website so much. Such a flawless picture, it’s almost like I’m looking out my own window.
One of these days (years) I’d like to see Rome and see all the sights Father has photographed. But then again, a two week vacation is not enough to experience Rome. Maybe not even a year is enough.
I have a friend from Belgium (aged 22) who was in Rome a few years ago (2001) and She refused to attend the JP II Masses that were schedueles when She was there, because even back then She thought they were horrible (ceremony and music created for the occasion, everything made up on the spot). While the rest of her party went to JP II Masses (and later proved her right by saying how unimpressive it all was), She took photos like Father Z does. Not as good, but I was wondering if Father has ever heard of the “Tor di Specchi” and the nuns living there. That’s where my friend visited instead of JP II Masses.

  3. Absolutely magnificent.

Wow, that one is a combination of WMJ Turner and Caravaggio! Wot a stunner!
