    From Holland, I hope?

Nice photo Father. It seems not a few priests of my acquaintance seem to be partial to the arts. But then, Our Lord is the greatest artist of all. Perhaps you are a fan of his, given your nature photos?

    Tulips?

Lent in Central Pennsylvania is a little different.

    Currently: 20F, Winds: 20mph, Windchill: -2F
    Tomorrow: 25F, Snow: 3-4inches

This isn’t Rome. Here we know the meaning of penance!

Is that Saint Peter in the background? WOW If so, then you have a priviliged place in Rome.

  5. One day, we’ll all be together I hope.

Oh Father, what a view! Bellissima! What a blessing to seethis every morning. I’m green with envy for you, and humbly ask pardon of that sin. Thanks for this lovely photo

  7. It is a real privilege.

  8. Andrew says:

… quemadmodum vero tulipae, quae sub vesperam ingruentem se claudunt, sole illustri panduntur; ita virtus et eruditio, post Dei benedictionem, floret laetius.

(Just as tulips, that close as the evening approaches and open with the sun’s rays returning; so also virtue and learning, after God’s blessing, bloom that much more.)
