We have a dear parishioner friend at St. Agnes who has known Msgr. Schuler for many years and who has been able to be with him recently. He told my wife and I this afternoon that many priests, deacons, sisters, and close friends have been keeping vigil with Msgr.

    Prayfully, Mike

  8. Fr. Ubel (current pastor at St. Agnes) told us this morning that he was with Msgr. Shuler yesterday, and that though Msgr. was asleep for most of the visit, near the end he woke up and raised his hand in blessing.

He certainly continues to be in my prayers.

During the short residency in Lakeville, MN, we made St. Agnes home. I still vividly remember taking Monsignor’s Saturday afternoon “short” confession line. His spiritual guidance was always concise, right-to-the-point, and extremely spiritual enlightening. Martha has been very kind in sending us parish bulletins for the past 4 years. Haven’t seen reports on Monsignor recently.

    He is in our prayers.
