Thanks to readers for books!

I am very grateful to JN of CA who sent the copy of The Unmaksing of Oscar Wilde by Joseph Peace, which as just arrived.

I am almost finished with Pearce’s fascinating book  The Quest for Shakespeare.

Also, I am now in possession of The Mass and Saints by Thomas Crean, OP, sent by the publisher.  I shall dig into it anon.

I think I’ve figured it out… you must never sleep!

Well, I’m pretty sure you don’t have two small boys wreaking havoc around the Sabine Farm. I remember the days when I used to read books, too…

    Enjoy your books!

  2. JN of CA says:

You’re welcome! Keep keeping up the wonderful blog.

  3. Marc says:

Anyone who would like an inexpensive library of the writings of the early Church Fathers go here
38 volumes for 299$. Although it is edited by protestants one can ignore the “commentary”. Just thought you all might like to know!

  4. There was some discussion here not too long ago about Greenville, South Carolina being the center of the Catholic universe. If it helps to confirm this growing realization, Joseph Pearce is a v. good friend of our, lives nine months of the year here in Greenville, and is a parisioner at St Mary’s.

  5. RBrown says:

    Fr Longnecker,

Did you ever visit Clear Creek?
