℟ Dominus conservet eum, et vivificet eum, et beatum faciat eum in terra, et non tradat eum in animam inimicorum eius. |
℟ May the Lord preserve him, and give him life, and make him blessed upon the earth, and deliver him not up to the will of his enemies. |
Deus, omnium fidelium pastor et rector, famulum tuum N., quem pastorem Ecclesiae tuae praeesse voluisti, propitius respice: da ei, quaesumus, verbo et exemplo, quibus praeest, proficere: ut ad vitam, una cum grege sibi credito, perveniat sempiternam. Per Christum, Dominum nostrum. Amen. |
O God, Shepherd and Ruler of all Thy faithful people, look mercifully upon Thy servant N, whom Thou hast chosen as shepherd to preside over Thy Church. Grant him, we beseech Thee, that by his word and example, he may edify those over whom he hath charge, so that together with the flock committed to him, may he attain everlasting life. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. |
Interesting. I didn’t realize SpaceX was that far along, that they were regularly carrying cargo and passengers to the ISS. Good news that we won’t be as dependent on the Russians.
A reliable source tells me that they would have had 5 park , but they didnt have change for the meter.
Pretty cool that the “operationalizing” of space may finally be upon us. SpaceX has launch, orbit and recovery down to a science now.
SpaceX has also launched a lot of other commercial and governmental payloads. They are currently building out their own satellite constellation to deliver broadband Internet called Starlink. Another thing that they are developing is a completely reusable space transportation system. It is a two stage system with a first stage that is called Super Heavy, and a second stage called Starship. It is a very large vehicle. They are currently building and testing prototypes at their test site at Boca Chica, Texas. There are several channels on YouTube that cover space program activities, many run by space enthusiasts. For starters there is: What about it?, Scott Manley, spaceXcentric, Marcus House, among others.
