Meanwhile, black to move.

NB: I may hold comments with puzzle solutions a little longer than others so there won’t be “spoilers” for others.

I received a pack of forwarded mail!

I’d like to thank ALT, AMC, DGC, D&AT, DD, VV, VD, MS, the O’B family.

And thank you to all my donors and wishlist senders.  You are dear to me.  Your use of my Amazon affiliate link is a major part of my income. It helps to pay for insurance, groceries, everything. Please remember me when shopping online. Thanks in advance.

Father, noticed many motorcycles on right of image.
Do most in Rome, use them or walk?

That’s it, no hints? OK then – challenge accepted!

    1… Qg3+
    2.Kf1 Bc5
3.Rb7+ Kf8 and white appears to be out of checks, with no defense.

If white plays R/Qxd3 then Qf2# is checkmate. If white guards the 2nd rank with Rd2, then Qg1# is checkmate.

Alternately, if the white king runs to h1 instead of f1:
    1… Qg3+
    2.Kh1 Rc2 looks winning.

    Happy Thanksgiving, Fr. Z!
