Laudato si’ Part II

If you were worried that, with all the talk about synodality {“walking together-ty”) the world’s real pressing matters weren’t being addressed, never fear!

From ANSA:

Otherwise:

I am writing a second part of Laudato si’ to update current problems”.

This was stated by Pope Francis as he received this morning in an audience in the Vatican a delegation of lawyers from member countries of the Council of Europe who signed the Vienna Appeal.

Francis will publish an continuation and update of his 2015 encyclical dedicated to “integral ecology” and the safeguarding of creation.
“I am mindful – he said in his speech to the delegation of lawyers – of the care you give to our common home and of your commitment to participate in the elaboration of a regulatory framework in favor of environmental protection”.
According to the Pontiff, “we must never forget that the younger generations have the right to receive from us a beautiful and livable world, and that this invests us with serious duties towards creation that we have received from the generous hands of God. Thank you for this contribution “.
“I’m writing a second part of Laudato si’ to update current issues,” he added.

Whew. That’s a relief. Another problem solved.

I think I’ll turn the temperature down on my AC today.

I fear why he is writing this now. The idea of
Climate lockdowns is already being talked about. I fear this will be written so as to “bless” the globalists evil schemes. Remember, under Francis it was a moral duty to get vaccinated. I’m afraid Catholics will be told it’s a moral duty to turn in their cars and accept 15 minute cities to Save the planet!

I really do not know, but I’m highly suspicious.

I’m positive this won’t be called “Terra Sanatur”

    According to Pope Francis:
    Beautiful and livable world? Sure.
Beautiful and reverent liturgy? Not so much.

Electric cars, electric candles, electric sanctuary lamps.

Laudato Si 2: Electric Car Boogaloo.

Given the record of how long these things that I don’t read have gotten, I’m assuming that either this or the next one will be printed in the form of a mobius strip, so that it can now repeat itself (if we’re lucky, in bad latin), in what may truly be called “endlessly.”

    A bone chilling prospect.
But at least Tucho will be right on hand to fluff it up and provide the DDF’s imprimatur. I’m frequently amazed at the mirrored reflection of “devout Catholic Biden” administration and the current pontificate. Now it is perfected: Biden/DOJ, Bergoglio/DDF.
    All of a piece.

“the elaboration of a regulatory framework in favor of environmental protection”. Of course that is what we need, more regulatory frameworks. We won’t need to worry about what is our moral duty, we will be told what to do. Remember, “You vill own nothink and you vill be happy”.

Another reason why the Pope and Rome slide more into irrelevance (or irreverence?)

We’ve all been blindsided by the madness of the global capitalist model; just wait until the population collapse hits home.

The world AND Church is in so much chaos. Always have your rosaries to hand would be the mantra of the present.
