In your charity would you please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?
Continued from THESE.
Let’s remember all who are ill, who will die soon, who have died recently, who have lost their jobs, who are afraid.
I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.
As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.
If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.
You have to be registered here and approved to be able to post.
- In your kindness continue prayers for my mother, who has been diagnosed with something grave, progressive and incurable.
- Pray for me, for my circumstances and wisdom in my decisions.
- Pray for a really good episcopal appointment which could have a massive impact.

For my mother (Judy C.) to return to the practice of the Faith. For Bill C. to have priest & sacraments available at the end of his life. For Barbara B.: hope, and a return to the Faith.
Please pray for me who likely has pancreatic cancer. Please also say a short prayer for my four children and wife. Thank you all and it has been a pleasure reading this blog over the years.
For the repose of the soul of Fr. Gary R who passed away last week.
For all Seminarians that they follow on the path God has given them.
In Thanksgiving for a new, young and energetic pastor for my local parish.
Please, for my sister Karen, who needs a double mastectomy after a breast cancer diagnosis. Even the surgery is a worry. I will pray for all intentions, God bless you all, tomthumb, a hug too. Actually hugs for all.
I would appreciate prayers for many health issues (physical and spiritual) for our family. The Lord knows all of them.
Please pray for the repose of the soul of JHF, a retired priest of my diocese and also a dear friend. He died last month aged 78, after a short battle with intestinal cancer. He was buried just one day short of what should have been the 40th anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood. In his retirement he was still very active, he said Mass regularly in parishes throughout the diocese until his illness prevented him from doing so.
For Kurt Brown. A young man, studying mathematics, raised Mennonite, is inquiring about becoming Catholic. He came to his first Mass ever this morning, Latin Mass in Calgary. He knew about John-Henry Newman! The family dynamic will prove difficult. Pray for him, he’s on his way home. Links in a chain.
For my sister, Emily F. It is urgent and grave. For my parents during this challenging moment in their parenthood. For peace in my family once again.
On it.
Of course we will pray for you and your family. May God bless and comfort you all.

Intentions of and reparation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, and the Chaste Heart of Good St. Joseph.
Restoration of the Holy Mother the Church, and for all bishops, priests, religious, seminarians and novices. And for an increase in vocations.
Restoration and conversion of our country, her leaders, and her peoples. For an end to all legalized sin.
For the release of the Holy Souls in Purgatory, especially the most abandoned and forgotten, and those furthest from Heaven.
Conversion of sinners and the enemies of God (and the crushing of their plans).
For the repose of the souls of M.E., B.S., R.F., G.H, A.O., L.P., M.O., S.T.,
and those who perished in the wildfires of Maui. For healing, peace, and charity to abound in Maui and for the temporal and spiritual needs of the people there.
The least, the lonely, and the last. And those whom are on the brink of despair, suicide, or contemplating abortion. Those who have no one to pray for them. All the intentions listed here and the intentions of all the readership.
And those for whom I pray for daily and for my 54 Day Rosary novena petitions (past and present). And my various novena petitions.
And for a fruitful pilgrimage to Fatima.
Deo Gratias! Mary thank you! St. Joseph thank you!
An exorcist friend has asked for prayers for his “entrusted souls” while he recovers from something.
Prayers for you Father.. For your Priesthood, your family and your Blog.
Prayers for my 12 grandchildren and my new great grandson.
@tomthumb, I thought of you all day yesterday after reading here, prayed too. Please don’t give up with prayer of course, but action also. There are stories from all over the world of serious cancer being healed/brought into remission, with “repurposed drugs”, one in particular. God bless you all.
Please pray for my husband to receive a heart like St. Joseph: kind, encouraging, loving, patient, slow to anger, disciplined, hard working, self-sacrificing, humble, generous, courageous. That God would please send him an excellent career, that he will love and excel at, that will be able to provide for our family and the church, that will enable us to get our own home, and the He would send it to him this week.
For the renewal of my hope and trust in God and my husband, which has withered during the continuous struggles of our marriage. For our poor children who must journey through this valley of tears with us.
Prayers for you, Fr. Z, everyone who has posted and for those who are suffering.
tomthumb: Pray for healing through the intercession of St. Elizabeth of the Holy Trinity. She healed my grandmother of pancreatic cancer many years ago. <3
I could use some prayers for gainful and fulfilling employment. I moved to a new state a little over three months ago, and have been actively looking for a decent paying job in a relatively small town. Could also use some prayers for encouragement and perseverance in developing a much needed and specifically targeted spiritual retreat type project for the church. ??
Thank you!
I will pray for your mother, for your circumstance, and for good bishops.
Of your charity, please pray for a very serious personal intention. Thank you, and may God bless you.
Please pray for my husband that he will find a good job that can support our family. We are desperate. My husband has been praying to St. Joseph and the Infant of Prague.
As of All Saints this year, it will have been 2 years since I last had a job. I can’t get hired for minimum wage, I can’t get hired in my field, and I can only even find 1-3 jobs to apply for in any given MONTH. It’s worse now than it was even in the 2008 recession when I graduated college.
Please pray for Fr S, a young priest who is in a grave condition in intensive care.
Dear All, I prayed for your intentions (and those who will post after this) at mass today, such heavy sufferings out there. Please pray for my son, Joseph, who has serious troubles, and a few other intentions. Thank you. God bless and keep you all!
• For my brother Wayne to be cancer free and made whole. Praying to Saint Charbel and Our Lady of Knock for help with this.
• For a personal situation in which I have suddenly been thrust. I am praying to Mary Undoer of Knots and to Our Lady of Good Remedy for help with this.
Don
That I would know what I should do and do it well. Been going through a really rough patch lately, don’t know when it will end but God knows what He’s doing. God bless y’all.
-For myself. That the Lord may grant me patience, wisdom and forgiveness.
-For a young member of my parish, who must have been in so much pain, he took God’s greatest gift.
-For those Priests, Deacons and Laity that celebrate/attend the Tridentine Mass and are now having it ripped from them. That they may find peace, consolation and forgiveness for their persecutors.
-For His Holiness and those around him who are most likely deciding at this time who he will elevate to the Sacred College of Cardinals in the coming year. May the Holy Spirit guide him/them in choosing wise, humble and Holy men.
-For the eternal repose of my parents. That they may be with the Lord in the presence of the Angels.
Please pray for me. I will have a very risky surgery on October 23rd at the Mayo Clinic. I would be so thankful if you will whisper a prayer for me. God bless you.
please pray for me and my family. for tranquility in our life and capability to pay all our debts.
For my sister, Carol, who was diagnosed with lung cancer last year (never smoked), and while immunotherapy was very effective at clearing up the lung, she has lesions on her brain that needed radiation, and soon, chemo until the next scan. The radiation was rough on her, and the chemo may well be difficult.
By the way, a couple of years ago, I asked for prayers for my friend’s husband, Michael, who had liver cancer. Well, he is doing much better, praise God! No cancer has come back, so far. Thank you, Father Z and everyone.
Clare reminds me its good to share when posted prayers are answered. We found a home and I overcame my anxiety and bought it, and our son is recovered and doing great. Thank you all for your prayers! God bless all here and all the intentions mentioned. Please help Lord, so much need.
?I ask for your prayers for my family and me. I received devastating professional news today that could lead us to move back to our hometown. We would lose contact with our current wonderful TLM parish. To make things worse, our hometown is a spiritual desert, and the nearest TLM is two hours away, one-way, by car.
For my cousin D, whose husband R passed away a few months ago from cancer. They were married 48 years and she misses him terribly. Also pray for the repose of R’s soul.
Also for me for discernment, while I navigate a few life decisions in the coming months.
For the conversion/reversion of my parents and sons;
for my younger son who has an important exam on 10/30- he has already failed the test one time and is very anxious;
for a friend undergoing treatment for prostate cancer;
for A, a little boy recovering from severe burns;
for my pastor- our associate was recently transferred leaving him alone to do the work previously done by two priests.
Praying for all your intentions!
Please pray for me. There are things that have occurred in the last couple of days I don’t really comprehend. I’m not sure if I’m over reading/thinking the events. Please pray I receive clarity and if I’m not overthinking everything, please pray it isn’t as bad as I think it to be.
