I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.
As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

Dear Fr. Z,
I am writing to ask you for your prayers for our unborn baby who is experiencing a life-threatening diagnosis. We are praying that God will heal in our baby and allow him or her to be born safely and alive. Thank you for your prayers.
For my sister, M., who has to deal with both a husband’s rapid decline from Alzheimer’s and an autistic son. Also my nephew L. who suffers from severe and crippling depression.
Please pray for J. who is currently in hospice. For his conversion & eternal salvation. For a merciful judgement, immediate entrance into Heaven, that his soul may not be lost. Thank you!

For the restoration of my marriage and for a solution to my serious financial difficulties, so that I can continue paying for my home.
Please offer a prayer of healing for my wife who is struggling with serious illness that she be granted total and complete healing.

You are all included in my rosary, Father too. I pray for the continued healing and progress in my husband’s recovery from hip surgery, and healing of body and soul for all our family.
I could really use some strong prayers. I have a lot of anger and trust issues with God. Didn’t have the best parents. Haven’t always made the best decisions. However, one of the best decisions I ever made was applying for seminary. I studied and prayed for nearly two years. Then my health broke. Instead of offering support, my vocations director simply asked me to leave.
I had felt certain that it was an authentic call. Still do. I’m having a hard time getting the help I need from the Church to overcome the obstacles I have to trying for the priesthood again. When my grandfather died, we found Masonic paraphernalia among his possessions. I think it belonged to his father, my great-grandfather.
I have an appointment with some clergy next month who run a diocesan office dedicated to healing/deliverance ministry for those suffering from the occult. Please pray that it goes well. They are very experienced and know what they’re doing. I just really hope that when the time comes, I’ll still have the faith necessary to be healed.
