Shouldn’t the priest in question in the very least be publicly corrected by his bishop, and be made to publicly recant and apologize for his words? Yeah, I know. Keep dreamin’.
And, just as an aside, I wish I could tell the clergy and bishops, if I wanted to be Protestant I would have left the Church long ago and become a Protestant. I don’t need to hear Protestant rationalistic Modernist heresies preached within the walls of a Catholic Church.
Observed here the unambiguous marriage of heresy with mental illness, far too frequently overlooked, and even promoted. The Gospel cannot be proclaimed persuasively by those who sacrifice their credence on the altar of woke.
But Father, these abuses never ever happen. Never. Ever. However, if they do, relax, it’s actually a good thing.
This wouldn’t have happened under the Generalisimo. Most definitely #gayandretarded.
I recall without an iota of doubt hearing “Collegevile’s” Fr. Godfrey Diekmann, OSB, a peritus at the mid-century council, proclaiming during Patristics the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary “the greatest assumption of them all,” and with a mighty ho-ho-ho to boot. While I progressed ever more foolishly into the cesspool of heterodoxy after that it did rather lift the veil on the real intentions of the mid-century operation.
John Paul’s pontificate rescued me from that ditch but it did take a while. It is a long climb up.
Sometimes I wonder whether we are being provoked deliberately.
