Via Rorate. It is short, so here is the whole thing.
The impressive figure, which Rorate had foreseen years ago, has now become reality: according to the French opinion pollster IFOP, headed by Jerôme Fourquet, 55% of priests aged 25-34, celebrate the Traditional Mass.
The poll comes on the eve of the papal visit to the Nation.
Of course, the total number of priests in France has decreased substantially since the Council, but even so the percentage is impressive, considering that only 2% of priests 75 or older celebrate the TLM.

We might not see it in our lifetime…

If my high school French still serves me after 50 years, the Rorate article promises a little more than it delivers. I translate the legend as “Proportion of priests celebrating sometimes or often the Mass in Latin and/or according to the Extraordinary Form” vs “Proportion of priests celebrating the Mass in French and according to the Ordinary Rite.”
Impressive, even so.
I wonder how much higher the statistics would be if TC hadn’t been. I know that has held back some good priests I know, who want to be obedient, from saying a TLM even for a small gathering of friends.
Puts the lie to the SSPX claim that tradition would die without disobedience, doesn’t it?
