I just got word that some new sermons of St. Augustine have been discovered in Vienna.
I don’t have details yet.

“This blog is rather like a fusion of the Baroque ‘salon’ with its well-tuned harpsichord around which polite society gathered for entertainment and edification and, on the other hand, a Wild West “saloon” with its out-of-tune piano and swinging doors, where everyone has a gun and something to say. Nevertheless, we try to point our discussions back to what it is to be Catholic in this increasingly difficult age, to love God, and how to get to heaven.” - Fr. Z

Deo gratias!
Hmmm…interesting…I’ll have to contact a few sources.
Oh, Fr.Z, there is a new, and vastly more affordable, edition of the Missale Romanum of Paul VI available. Didn’t know if you were aware or not.
Joseph V: That really doesn’t have much to do with this topic, but that is interesting. Perhaps you can e-mail the details to me.
This is intriguing news, and seems the more plausible given that Vienna was also the scene of the discovery of some previously unknown letters of St. Augustine some twenty-odd years ago. I do hope you’ll keep us abreast of developments there, Father!
