    Workin’ on the blog

CATEGORY: SESSIUNCULUM — Fr. John Zuhlsdorf @ 4:04 pm

I think I finally got the anti-spam plugin working properly.

You can now stop trying to figure out the secret meaning of "toast".

    1. I thought “way” was possibly for the way the truth and the life…. but “toast” really had me scratching my head! Maybe, heretics are toast with Benedict in charge…

    5. Different kind of toast: “Up the long ladder and down the short rope. The h*ll with King Billy and God bless the Pope.”

    6. Thank you, Father! The words were getting more and more cryptic and I, more and more frustrated! God bless you.

    7. I like toast. :-)

Oh, I’m trying to be more charitable so I just deleted what I wrote, otherwise my confession is going to be really long…

Actually, my favorite is a toasted English muffin with butter and a bit of strawberry jam. Yum!

BTW - I just noticed a comment expiration date. I best be hoppin’ to it!

    10. Toast is something we eat. Toast is to pan-cook something (sans oil) until golden brown. Toast is when you seem to be running low on excuses as your boss decides to interrogate you big time.

      Ah toast. :D

    11. Nothing wrong or secret with or about toast. It’s just yummy. Especially with chocolate spread on!

    12. Dear Father:

On a related blog matter: How is the RSS feed coming along?

I have Live Bookmarks on the Bookmarks toolbar of my Firefox browser, and my favorite Catholic blogs are all loading their RSS feeds properly. “American Papist”? Loading fine. “Charlotte Was Both”? Ditto. “New Liturgical Movement”? Same there. The Whapsters? No problemo. However, with WDTPRS, I’m still getting “Live Bookmarks failed to load.”

      Just wondering.

    13. PMcGrath,

You might delete the link and get another one. I got the “failed to load” message for a while, but it’s been working fine the last few days.
