Blognic: London II

Fr. Finigan has made a suggestion about a time and place for London II, a blognic.

He proposes on his blog Friday 24 July at 6pm so that people who are at work in London can get there.

Can you Londoners get involved?

For the last London blognic we met at the Buckingham Arms on a Tuesday late afternoon. It was fun!

Fr. Finigan recommends the Ha Ha Bar opposite Westminster Cathedral. (He says, probably correctly, that The Buckingham Arms might be a bit crowded on a Friday evening after work.)

Also, I am open to smaller, on the fly, meetings.  Ring me on my new UK MOBILE NUMBER if you see me post that I am going to be wandering around town: 07501852559

Will be there, do any London readers know the nearest coach station to Westminster Cathedral and/or the nearest train station?

  2. The nearest tube and train station is Victoria. Bus lines 11, 24, 148, 507 and 211 stop immediately in front of the Cathedral Piazza, on Victoria Street.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks Michael, just so other visitors can find me I’ll be wearing my Cardinal Ratzinger Fan Club T-shirt.

  4. Edel says:

District / Circle/ Victoria lines as well as over ground serve Victoria

    Buses
11 – comes from Liverpool St

507 and 211 come from Waterloo.

Sounds like a really fun idea!
