    I hope it is okay to post this here:

    Would any readers who may see this please pray for my cousin and his wife? She is pregnant with twins who are due in 6 weeks and just learned today that the baby boy has a number of serious health issues and may die in the womb. My cousin’s father (who predicted she would have twins) died only a few months ago, so this is another heavy blow for them. I’m making it my business to get as many people praying as possible, since I am otherwise helpless.

    I’m trying to get a rosary/prayer rally for this Saturday Feb 25 at noon (American Eastern Standard Time). Anyone interested in merging this idea with mamajen’s request and Fr. Z’s request for his friend, the priest? Can I get ten people to commit to praying the rosary at noon? As many decades as you want. Pray whatever time of Saturday you want if you can’t make noon. No more complaining! Let’s see if we can start using the weapons we’re given against evil/unfortunate circumstances.
    I need nine more volunteers. I’ll take whatever I can get. If I have to go it alone, no problem. Fr Z and mamajen are covered Saturday at noon.

    A Memorare said for your Priest in difficulty and more prayers will follow .We see all too much evidence of that “roaring lion”going about in recent times. Thank you for your mighty Blog and other works!

    I will join your “rosary/prayer rally for this Saturday Feb 25 at noon (American Eastern Standard Time)”. It is vital that the best Spiritual Weapon, the Rosary, is used to fight the evil that has invaded our land.

    Yes, of course. Amazingly, right before she kissed me good night my 14-year old daughter handed me a holy card with a prayer for priests. (She wants the holy card back, but she knows that priests are very much in need of our prayers these days.) I made a copy of the card and said that prayer and two others for your priest friend.. Fr. Z (I love the combination of the Memorare and the St. Michael prayer!)

    mamajen, I am praying for the twins and their family.

    Uncledan, sign me up for the rosary at noon and please pray that I don’t forget to say it! (I did write it down.)

    Joyful mysteries still on Sat. during Lent? The Sorrowful go to Sunday, so do the Glorious go to Saturday? Have to check on EWTN at 7:30 Rosary. Mary is patron of Priests, our country, and those babies.

    to Mamajen regarding the twins: A friend’s daughter was carrying twin boys; both she and the babies had health issues. She was in the hospital, in bed, for about 3 months. She prayed to Blessed Francis Seelos. On Feb. 2, the boys turned 3 & are healthy. You will find prayers here: http://www.seelos.org/prayers.html God bless.
