YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

Please use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

Registered or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Many requests are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have three pressings personal petitions.  As I write today, one of them is… very heavy indeed.

The moderation queue is ON… for ALL posts, right now.

Prayers for JP who is, just recently, into heavy drugs and depression.
Prayers for ZL who has given up dressing like a lady and moved far away from her family with her boyfriend.
Prayers for RG who just had and operation to reverse a botched d&c, has five little children and who’s husband seems to have given up going to Mass.
Prayers for TM who has come so far from the traditional Catholic girlhood of her youth as to be sleeping with girls.
    Prayers for their parents!
Prayers for me to homeschool my children with love while bearing this burden, plus the cleanup of a flooded basement, and the ‘baby blues’.
Prayers for MP who is 20 weeks pregnant on bedrest with three little ones (6,4,2) at home and a husband that is slways working.

Have been struggling more than usual with unchaste SSA desires… not helped by mixed (sometimes unmixed) messages from celebrity priests and bishops. Please pray for me as I will for you. Thanks.

I would like to live in a safe neighborhood. I live in St. Louis so there aren’t too many neighborhoods within the city that are ever 100% safe, but some areas are better than others. I would like live in an area where I won’t hear gunshots in the evening or be awoken by ambulance sirens in the middle of the night or hear police sirens at 6:30a.m. as I did this morning. So, if you could pray that God will bless me with a new dwelling, that would be terrific. Thanks.

Begging prayers for my success in landing a new job… mine was “offshored” earlier this year and I am discovering how difficult it is for an over-50 IT guy to find a commensurate position these days… (and if course I don’t tell any of them that we have six children!) Had a second interview for a very suitable position last week and I am very anxiously waiting to hear some news. I’ve prayed many novenas but I would appreciate any and all help in storming Heaven for this intention… thanks and God bless!

I’m still unemployed, family is still a spiritual disaster, and Depression is saying, “Hello, Darkness, my old friend…” That’s about it =-p

Please pray for Mrs E.E. who passed away on Saturday. She was an old farmer’s widow (91 years old) and a church lady in the local Lutheran parish. Mrs E. loved people and animals, especially homeless cats and sick foxes, many of whom she fed and cared for. I remember a starving cat who came to her, moved in and got fat :-). She called him My Darling. She will be buried by her pastor of 24 years. May she rest in peace.

Prayers for me and my family would also be deeply appreciated.

Please continue praying for my battered parish that the bishop sends us a new and good pastor soon. The current one has anger problems.

Dear Manwithblackhat, what a touching story you wrote about your mother and your grandmother!

I will pray for all of you.

I’m having surgery on Monday (tonsilectomy and deviated septum). Please pray that the surgery goes well and that my wife can handle the kiddos while I’m out of commission.

Something is bound to pop up, and they don’t care how old you are. You might have to relocate, though. If you do, maybe you can move to northern Virginia, just outside of DC. We have plenty of faithful priests, orthodox preaching, and reverent celebration of Mass (including Sunday TLM in “prime time”).

  11. youngcatholicgirl says:

Please, prayers for Mr. KR. He was in a serious car accident on Saturday which killed his wife. He’s in the hospital with some spinal injuries (fractures, I think). Fortunately, he’s not paralyzed.

  12. brk says:

Please pray for Kay, a homeschooling mom with breast cancer. Please pray for her healing and for the means to pay her medical expenses.

  13. Mariana2 says:

Praying for all of the above, specially for dear Peter Stuart; Father Zed’s intentions, and later for anything below, too.

Please pray for my mother. She is 85, has cancer, and is not coping well with being old and ill. She is not able to go to the shops, but nevertheless has refused to accept Social Services’ help with shopping. As she is a very difficult person who long has driven everybody away there are no friends who could help, and I live hours away.

  14. Please pray for Ralph and Jonathan as they go through their RCIA classes, for David who has had 5 major surgeries in two months, and for my special intentions. I am praying for your intentions.

  15. JohnE says:

For my 14-yr-old son who has some doubts about God, many doubts about Christianity, and has pretty much given up on praying since he doesn’t feel like God is present.

For wisdom and patience for me.

For my 11-yr-old son who will be confirmed this Friday.
