Ahhh! The sweet sound of clarity.

May the Lord continue to bless the Papal Posse.

As time goes by, it becomes more and more clear how inspired, wise, and courageous Mother Angelica was to refuse to hand over control of EWTN to the Bishops.

Thanks for posting the link to this video. Father Murray’s remarks at the end are like the grand finale of a fireworks show.

  4. G1j says:

Clarity indeed. Many of the points discussed are proof positive of the serious issue of the Catholic faithful not knowing the faith. This problem has now blossomed into the faithful creating and living their own version of the Catholic Church and when solid doctrine is taught and enforced, they want change. I see it at my Parish. I read about it happening all across the county. Those of us who seek reverence and tradition are almost to the point of not being welcome anymore. This is a disheartening trend that is spiraling out of control.

Fr Murray is wrong. Schonborn was not the author of the catechism–he did not write a single word. Schonborn was the editorial secretary, a cut and paste man.

Killing a baby while it is still in its mother’s womb is an intrinsically evil act. It is grave matter. What action by a single human being with regard to the poor, the destitute and the abandoned (whatever that means) is intrinsically evil and grave matter?
