The return of winter

The other day I posted about the return of spring to the Sabine Farm.  It seems winter is not done with us yet.

This is what I saw upon rising this morning.

The chickadees are still getting their fill, however.  There are more than ever now.  I think they must be SMSing their pals.

    The return of spring. Ha!

It was 90 here in San Antonio yesterday. People were in their pools, swimming.

Have you seen the photos on Fr Ray’s site in Brighton (GB) taken last Sunday? He told us we might need tea trays to get down the hill! I know you get a lot more snow in the US but this was a lot for Brighton and it arrived so quickly.

You know those videos they used to make of fires in the fireplace that crackled and burned? People loved those because they were relaxing. Fr. Z. should do a video of the Farm and put it on DVD (or YouTube, but that’s for free ;-)

    Ah, nice to watch anyway.

Wow! To a Southerner, that is truly an amazing sight. Our azaleas and dogwoods are blooming and the grass is turning green.
