Please use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

Registered or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Many requests are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have a pressing personal petition.

Two requests. My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer last month and begins her treatment next week. Today, my mom was diagnosed with recurring ovarian cancer and is facing 6 more months of treatment.

  2. jazzclass says:

For anyone participating in sports camps and for the safety of all athletes across the world

  3. geologus petrolei says:

Please pray for my father, who is facing serious legal trouble.

  4. demivalka says:

Please pray for my 26-year old niece who will undergo a double mastectomy tomorrow.

  5. RJG says:

Please pray for a friend of mine who has been living on the streets of Orlando for many months.

  6. NancyP says:

Please pray for a young Navy lieutenant who recently discovered he has stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

One of my husband’s colleagues could use some prayers, too; his employer is trying to find a reason to fire him.

A faithful priest I know is being transferred; please pray with me that this transfer will be a good fit for him. I am worried.

Finally, my son’s friend will be undergoing a Navy telephone interview this Wednesday; he very much wants to get into a particular officer program and I believe he would do an excellent job. He’s a smart, delightful young man; he’s Catholic, too, and his mom has asked for prayers for the interview.

Prayers requested for my dear friend’s speedy recovery from emergency surgery. Also for our brand new priest who also had emergency surgery 1 week into his assignment! And for my children, that they may keep their baptismal innocence and accept God’s will with courage and joy.

  8. Tricia says:

Requesting prayers for my family as we search for our next home. We are in a temporary living arrangement right now.

Praying for all of your intentions.

  9. RafqasRoad says:

Please pray for my husband L., that he may return to the church after not darkening its doors for nearly fifty years (never dreamed I would become Catholic when I married him over ten years ago now, having been Maronite Catholic for nearly four years). Please pray that the Maronite powers that be might deign to begin a congregation in my part of rural New South Wales and if not, whilst sojourning now for nearly eighteen months with the local RCC NO community, that our priests ever increase in fidelity to unchanging tradition, continually improving the way in which they offer the NO Holy Sacrifice of the Mass (we have no EF in our part of the world).

Please pray for my brother and SIL., S. and K., who have no interest in God at all, let alone Catholic Christianity, my brother calling it a name that I won’t mention here. Please pray for my family, N. and S., father and step mother, L along with her adult children S and P, their spouces and children, my husband’s friends B and L, their adult children partners and children, that God would grant them the graces of conversion from states of mind that love the changes made in the US recently along with other so called liberal advancements to hearts burning for Christ and His bride. They’re deep Dawkinsesque atheists, radical feminists, and secular humanists. All I can do is love them and pray for them, having masses offered for them. I have just offered an Ave for all of you, plus prayers calling for the intercession of Our Lady Queen of the Clergy, our Lady Star of the Sea, St. Peregrine for all suffering from Cancer and those asking for prayers re loved ones and friends suffering from cancer, plus additional intercession from Ven Fulton J. Sheen, plus ss. Padre Pio & PJPII.

Love and God’s blessings to all.

  10. andia says:

Could I ask you all to remember a young acquaintance of my sister’s in your prayer – Susanne, 14, is pregnant after being raped by her step-father. she is vehemently anti-abortion ( her statement is “He stole my life, he doesn’t get to steal another” ) please prayer for her to have strength the road ahead is haed for her. She is currently in the care of the Felician nuns but she has healing to do.

Please also pray for a very special intention for Father David Bialkowski and for me to get a job and find where God wants me

  11. andia says:

I keep you all in my prayers as well.

  12. pj_houston says:

Please pray for the recovery of our scripture study leader, who just had quadruple by-pass heart surgery. He has done much over the years in our Dominican parish, to bring a truly orthodox understanding of the Catholic faith to others.

  13. LeslieL says:

Prayers offered for Fr. Z’s request….and all of yours, written and unwritten.

And I ask you to keep in mind a very special intention for a young priest, a dear friend of mine, Fr. JM. Please. I know I ask this every time Fr. Z gives us the opportunity – but it really is a an important intention.

I also ask you to pray for a very special young lady, Molly – Molly is 16 months old and will be facing her fourth brain surgery in two weeks. She was diagnosed with a relatively rare disease called Vein of Galen Malformation (VOGM), which can cause all types of problems including cardiac and neurological. She is a fighter, however, and her smile lights up a room. Hopefully this will be her last surgery. I wish I could post a picture so you could see who you’re praying for – I get lost in her eyes, and couldn’t put words to it – but another priest friend of mine said to me “I see the suffering Christ in her eyes” – please say a prayer for this special young lady. I think there is a reason we see that suffering Christ in her eyes……

God bless, and know I keep your intentions in my prayers, too.

  14. Kate says:

For my uncle who left the Church almost 50 years ago – he is in now in hospice and needs prayers.
    Please pray for his salvation.

  15. John Grammaticus says:

    please pray for my intentions

  16. oldconvert says:

Please pray for a priest who needs to undergo major surgery, and for my husband who is in the throes of chemotherapy and not tolerating it well.

  17. Mike says:

That my brother who left the Church after marrying a Protestant 49 years ago may return to the Church and bring his family with him.

That my job situation may come to a smooth and speedy resolution in accord with God’s will for my life, and for the intercession of St. Thomas Aquinas as I continue to struggle with a vexing personal issue.

For all seminarians, especially those in dangerous situations because of heterodox formators.

  18. Sonshine135 says:

Please pray for my sister-in-law who was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease that has caused a tumor to push on her brain stem. I continue to pray for the intentions above and all readers of this blog. Thank you.

  19. mbutton says:

Please pray for myself and my fiance as we get married this Saturday.

  20. Dialogos says:

For St. Joseph’s parish in Tacoma, WA, which is soon scheduled to become a personal parish in the Archdiocese of Seattle under the pastoral care of the FSSP: for a smooth transition and for many there to fall in love with the EF. Also for the FSSP priest assigned there.

    For me: for suitable work.

  21. Please pray for me, as I finish up my internship this week and start my first full time position after college on Monday. And please pray for a friend of mine, who graduated with me, but just got laid off from his first job after only a month in, that he may find a new job and that he fully discerns what it is he is called to do.

  22. benedetta says:

I would greatly appreciate prayers for a personal intention, thank you.

  23. oldCatholigirl says:

Praying for all above (& you, too, of course, Fr. Z).

Please pray for the several people in my life who are trying to make difficult, even painful, discernments–that they may follow where the Lord leads. Also, for those whom I call “my lonelies”, who must slog through life bereft of many consolations which the rest of us take for granted– that they may have sufficient light.

  24. aviva meriam says:

In gratitude for two very pressing intentions, answered.

Please pray for the Center for Medical Progress as it seeks to publicize the evil of Abortion in general and Planned Parenthood in particular. CMP is facing the wrath of the left….. and they will need God’s protection.

Please pray for my family … we have two pressing intentions.

    Thanks.

  25. Torpedo1 says:

Will pray for all intentions here. Please pray for my husband and our marriage. Nothing like finding out about a childhood trauma to have challenges in our marriage suddenly make sense. Pray that he will come to understand that God makes all things new, pray for his healing. Thanks,

  26. Mariana2 says:

Praying for all these intentions. Please pray for my 17-year old son, who is practically off the rails.

  27. Suburbanbanshee says:

For an acquaintance who died suddenly, and for his family.

For full-time work and a good affordable apartment.

  28. charo says:

I will pray for all of your intentions. I ask your prayers for three pressing intentions. Thank you and God bless you.

  29. St. Epaphras says:

We would appreciate your prayers for a difficult move we are about to make. It has been unusually stressful on many levels and there have been a lot of things going wrong. Also my husband is having a hard time adjusting to his new job in the new location and needs prayers for physical strength and stamina in a physically challenging environment as well as healing for an undiagnosed (as yet) ailment making him short of breath. Please pray for another intention, a legal problem involving close and extended family, for a just and non-adversarial outcome, hopefully sooner rather than later. We need God’s intervention on that one for sure. Thanks to everyone; we depend on our brethren in Christ and will pray for the intentions of others who have asked.

  30. VexillaRegis says:

Please pray for all sick friends and relatives of mine.

For D who is having a difficult pregnancy.

For our angry pastor Fr. M to move from our parish soon and for a new normal priest to be assigned to us. The parish is falling apart socially (people are coming late and leaving Mass early to avoid the pastor, others have stopped coming at all) and our finances have gone from brilliant to precarious in just a few months, due to Fr. M’s spending on unnecessary and really expensive things.

For me and my family, a private intention.

    For all wars to end!

  31. Mariana2 says:

I have just learned that my mother has cancer. She will have an operation, but is over 80 years of age, so that in itself is a risk factor. Thank you for your prayers!

Vexilla Regis, so sorry for the problems in your parish!

  32. Supertradmum says:

Thanks to all here who have helped with housing and food needs, but I have to move again because of circumstances out of my personal control. Please pray for me to find a suitable and stable place to pray and continue spiritual direction, and, eventually have Adoration. For those who have helped towards a permanent place, I am very short of the needed goal, but please keep praying. I have been told by six priests that the idea for a lay house of prayer is both a great idea and needed, but that I have to find my own benefactor.

In the meantime, I am OTR as of the beginning of September again. Please pray for me.

  33. andia says:

    Prayers for all intentions here

  34. zag4christ says:

Please pray for our pastor and rector of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes, Fr. Darren Connall. He shared with us yesterday that he has very aggressive cancer. He is a diocesan priest, who as the rector of Bishop White Seminary, guided a number of young men as they began their journey’s to the priesthood during the pontificate’s of St. John-Paul and Benedict XVI. He has been the rector for Our Lady of Lourdes for about 6 years now, and the parish has blossomed under his guidance. He has said a number of times that he hopes he is able to stay for a long time. Please pray for his healing.
I will pray for all the intentions here.
