Registered or not, will you in your charity please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Many requests are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I still have a pressing personal petition.  Really.

I would like to ask you all to pray for healing of a very holy priest afflicted with a brain disease, too young. And please pray for another special intention. Thank you very much, and I will pray for all of you.

Hi. I have several urgent prayer requests:

    1. For the repose of my aunt’s soul. She passed away this week without asking for the sacraments and with a request for no Funeral Mass.

    3. For some relief from the pain I am experiencing with a severe case of fibromyalgia or other chronic pain disorder.
    4. For an acquaintance who is struggling to separate herself from a Satanic cult as she converts to the Catholic Faith.
    5. For a friend who is suffering with an insidious heroin addiction.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I will read and pray for each intention that all of you post. May God bless all of you, and may God exalt Holy Mother Church in this time of distress.

My prayers for everyone’s intentions. Please pray for my family it is the 12th anniversary of my fathers death in the coming days. He was not a good man in the last years of his life and he caused very lasting damage to myself and family during his life and death. He passed when I was 19 and I find it hard to pray for his soul so please pray that I can. Please Pray also for his soul.

Please also pray that family members will overcome significant longstanding mental health problems, and feelings of hopelessness

    Many thanks

  16. Chris Garton-Zavesky says:

    For peace in my heart.

For my new godson, who was baptized, confirmed and who received Holy Communion all in 1 day as an adult (age 22), and for his family. He took Blessed Charles of Austria as his Confirmation saint.

For my not-new godchildren, especially the teenager, who is growing up in an (effectively) anti-Catholic home.

  17. JesusFreak84 says:

A very dear friend unexpectedly lost his mother last week when an anurism {sp?!} in her brain exploded. He was very close to his mother and never really got on with his father, so it’s been hard on him and his father =- (The family is Catholic, for what that’s worth.)

  18. Patti Day says:

Please pray for EJM who has Parkinson’s and who is having greater difficulty walking and speaking.

  19. ocleirbj says:

For Joanne, a tough and independent single mother, an unbeliever, recently diagnosed with terminal lung cancer: that she would open her heart first to God who is calling her to Himself, and then to her (adult) son and her friends, who want to help her but feel shut out.

For Linda, a dear friend, who for years has endured poor eyesight with grace and faith, and now, after an unsuccessful operation, has lost the sight in her “good” eye and is facing a difficult adjustment to near-total blindness: that God would restore her sight; or if not, that He would give her the spiritual and financial resources to cope with her new situation; and that at the right time, as she and her husband grow older, that He would provide a good home for their adult disabled son.

Thank you all! I am praying for your intentions.

  20. downyduck says:

For my mother who has just been diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. She is scared, but trying to stay optimistic. Also, that I can convince her to begin the annulment process, as she has been in an adulterous civil union without her marriage to my dad being declared null for 20+ years. Thank you.

  28. Domus1967 says:

Please pray for my brother and his family. He is in the midst of a bitter divorce from his non-Catholic wife, and they have young children who are already showing signs of distress. May a miracle of reconciliation and forgiveness occur.

Also, especially pray for my nephew, who at age 17 has revealed to his family that he has SSA. Worse, he has stopped attending Mass and is refusing the Sacrament of Confirmation because according to him, ‘the Church hates gays.’

I will pray for everyone’s intentions. God bless.

  29. Mike says:

For men of faith and courage to be chosen as successor ordinaries to the adjacent Sees of Arlington and Washington, both of whose bishops reach the mandatory retirement of 75 this year.

  31. Homesick for Eternity says:

In the charity of your prayers please pray for my daughter who is only 18. She got pregnant and moved in with her boyfriend after only 2 months. She then got married at the courthouse without our knowledge. I ask that God’s will be done in her life and that she stops living in sin, finds true sorrow, repentance and forgiveness and returns to the Sacraments. She was raised in a wonderful Latin Mass parish and was very involved and active there especially with singing in the choir every Sunday for the High Mass. I pray she talks to one of the priest there who could help her. I pray this happens very soon for the sake of her eternal happiness. Pray also that her husband attends classes which begin next week to become a Catholic and that they get married in the church. also keep my husband in your prayers that his cancer does not return and that my son is able to get his business up and running successfully and for the help of his little 2 year old who needs surgery. Thank you.

  32. Please pray for my CCD students as they continue on their journey towards Confirmation next spring, and for their parents who I hope every week will bring their children to Mass every Sunday. It is always a struggle teaching and managing to keep my students interested (they actually hope sometimes that class was longer) but they do not go to Mass on a regular basis because their parents do not bring them.

  33. Chiara says:

Please pray for an urgent personal intention. My husband and I would like to reconcile with our pastor, who bears a great deal of personal animosity toward us. He has asked us to leave our parish. It is all very painful and difficult. We have done all we can to reconcile with him with no positive result. At this point, nothing short of divine intervention will help. Please add your prayers to mine to pray for the spirit of mercy and forgiveness to enter into Father’s heart. God bless you all.

  34. VexillaRegis says:

I have prayed for all the intentions above.

Please pray for the people of Syria and the Middle East as they are fleeing the ISIL. They are dying in droves there and on their way to Northen Europe.

Pray for Christianity to survive at all in those countries.

Pray for all children in our violent and dangerous World.

Pray for me and my family, a couple of special intentions.

Pray for my parish. Our angry-volatile pastor has made new bad financial decisions and other practical changes that make life in this parish quite impossible. People are simply very, very scared of him. May the bishop send him away and give us a new priest before the parish is completely dead.

For all of us to persevere in this time of turmoil, when so many of us feel betrayed and fooled.

For Fr. Z and his good work!

  35. Evan C says:

For my paternal grandfather who passed away about 2.5 hours ago. He was Presbyterian.

  36. Mariana2 says:

    Praying for all intentions here.

Please pray for the soul of my aunt, who died some weeks ago. Also for my mother, who is old, very ill and who hates everybody. She has alienated everyone around here and is now lonely and angrier than ever.

  37. I would like to ask for prayer for someone who left noviciate 10 months ago and is struggling to trust God and find purpose in life.
I will add the above intentions to my rosary.

  38. Supertradmum says:

Please pray that my son can meet me somewhere right after Christmas, if just for a few days. It is almost a year since I have seen him, and this time of separation, not being able to live in the same country, is a very difficult cross for both of us to bear.

Also, keep praying for the house of prayer and my personal intentions. Thank you.

  39. LeslieL says:

Please, as always, keep in your hearts and prayers a very special intention for my friend and dear young priest, Fr. JM…..

and for Fr. DB who will be undergoing back surgery on November 3.

Thank you SO much – and I promise I will keep your intentions and Fr. Z’s in my prayers……
