25 March – Annunciation – LIVE VIDEO: Mass at 1200h CDT (GMT/UTC -5)

UPDATE

My bad.  There was one more button to click to make it live.

TOMORROW I’ll get it right.

I was tempted just to say Mass again… but I really shouldn’t do that without exception need.  My screwing up the feed isn’t a good enough reason.

Meanwhile, I’m not the only priest trying to figure out the right buttons.  This is pretty funny.

Today I am again going to attempt to LIVE stream Mass at NOON (Central Daylight Time = GMT/UTC -5).  This is for the Feast of the Annunciation.

HERE

You can find the formulary here: Scroll down and choose “Rubrics 1960.

I hope each day to improve my attempts.  I am still learning.

    @Fr. Z.

    I find that using

    http://www.youtube.com/webcam

to set up the stream to be a whole lot easier than the Creator Studio Dashboard when streaming from your phone/ipad/webcam. After things are set up, go to the Dashboard and set other attributes for the stream/video as needed. In fact, with streaming, I recommend having two devices when managing all of this — your phone/webcam/videocam/camera logged in and set to stream, and then a device to manage things through the Creator Studio (once you have established the stream through the phone/webcam).

    (thanks for providing these Masses)

It was previewing perfectly. And the sound was better. I guess that distracted me.

    TOMORROW I’ll get it right.

Brick by brick, friends. Please be patient.

    Fr Z,
Re Mass of 24 March a little query: I wonder about the cruet with wine on altar during consecration.
Would not that wine also be transubstantiated at consecration?

[No. The priest intends to consecrate what is within the span of the corporal, or other vessels if necessary.]
