These beautiful pictures of Rome are needed even more after the Nativity monstrosity was erected in St. Peter’s Square. Please keep them coming.

FrZ another fantastic photo of beautiful Rome. This photo is taken in another medieval section of the city which offers you narrow streets, pathsand ancient walkways surrounded with beauty and a sense of permanence. I often ask myself , “what saints have walked this street in times past?”
This area is close to the Campo area which abounds with flower stalls and merchants offering kitchen wares, spices and pastas….. and it’s close to a favorite church of mine: Trinitia dei Pellegrini. This church offers only the TLM and other ceremonies in Latin and has a highly talented schola for the High Mass on Sundays. The Fraternity of the Priests of St Peter have charge over this church. FrZ is familiar with this church and has offered the Holy Mass here. This entire neighborhood is worth a slow morning stroll ending with a lunch perhaps in one of the many restaurants in the area. I do pray that the COVID pandemic hasn’t forced many of these small family run trattoria to shut down.
