YOUR URGENT PRAYER REQUESTS

PLEASE use the sharing buttons! Thanks!

In your charity would you please take a moment look at the requests and to pray for the people about whom you read?

Continued from THESE.

Let’s remember all who are ill, who will die soon, who have lost their jobs, and who are afraid.

I get many requests by email asking for prayers. Some are heart-achingly grave and urgent.

As long as my blog reaches so many readers in so many places, let’s give each other a hand. We should support each other in works of mercy.

If you have some prayer requests, feel free to post them below.

You have to be registered here to be able to post.

I ask a prayer for myself.  I’m dealing with a particular challenge right now.   I also want to thank all of you who pray for me.

Please pray for our nearly 17-year old son who ran away from home and has been gone for many months. It breaks our hearts.

You are in our prayers for you Fr. Z, and all of your readers. God bless you all.

  2. VForr says:

For peace and reversion to the Faith in my immediate and extended families.

    For my grandfather, Joe Scarborough.

  3. Sandy says:

Please pray for D. that cancer does not return, and other health issues are resolved, with God’s mercy. Please give me strength on every level of body and soul, Lord. Prayers for you, Father, and Liz, put him in Mother Mary’s care. Miracles happen.

Someone probably put this in already but let’s pray for a good outcome in the United States this Tuesday the 8th.

At the encouragement of an old friend I have been doing a novena – first time I have ever tried one. I also went through Fr. Zuhlsdorf’s archives and found a prayer that Fr. John Hardon, S.J. put together in the early 1990s.

  5. daughteroflight says:

For C. who is actively dying, that she have a happy death and that her family be comforted.

  6. Anneliese says:

Please pray for Fr. R’s new community. Please pray for the G family and their safety and health while they live in Europe. For the C family’s health. For Fr. N.

Please pray for me — for my health, my finances, and to find a new accessible safe hone soon.

And pray for everyone who’s struggling with trusting God.

I will pray for all here. Please pray for me, Kim, that I will be given courage to face the future after the unexpected death of my beloved husband.
I am heartbroken and overwhelmed. I can’t seem to make myself do anything, even important pressing paperwork.

  8. Antonia D says:

Please pray for a huge, critical (though completely undeserved) miracle for my family. We are in very serious need.

Thank you so much for your prayers, and I’m praying for you all and for Fr. Z!

Liz, my heart is breaking for you, and I am asking for special help from our Blessed Mother.

As hrwriggles4 mentioned, may God bless America especially on the 8th. Remember to VOTE if you haven’t already.

  9. Antonia D says:

    Could you pray for:

    – healing for my beloved cousins C., who is much too young to die, and M.,

    – for the conversion of my family and extended family

    – for mental & spiritual healing for P’s son, who has gone into a mental institution

    – for healing or a peaceful, holy death for F’s husband

    – for conversion, blessings, and friendships for T, an elderly person I just met who came over on a refugee boat in the 1970s from Vietnam, cannot read English, is living in poverty, and has no friends at all (except me, now)

Thank you so very much. Praying for you all.

Beelady, hang on … Jesus will give you strength, and you will find hope again.

    God bless y’all!

  10. I will pray for all of the intentions listed on this post.

Would you please pray for the following:
-For D.P. who is struggling with the after-effects of cancer, alcohol abuse, diabetes and depression, and for his family (wife and 3 boys) who suffer as well
-For L.M., my elderly mother, discalced secular Carmelite, frustrated and weary with aging, worries for the family and the world
-For my nephew L.P., 18, with Down Syndrome and some other, as of yet undiagnosed infirmities
-For my nephew G.P. with autism and ADHD
-For all those who will die shortly and face judgment, especially those most in danger of damnation
-For the return to the Church of my extended family
-For myself, perseverance in my priestly and monastic vocations.

    Thank you.

  11. Mike says:

My 96 year old mother died a few weeks ago. She had been married to my dad for nearly 70 years, who passed away 2 years ago. Both died with all the Sacraments, thank God.

Please pray for them and our family.

I will remember these intentions and Fr. Z’s at Mass tomorrow morning.

  12. Kerry says:

Please in your charity pray for my twin brother Kirk. He was under hospice care for dehydration and not eating. (Bad memory loss.) Sheri, his wife texts us: “Got a call last night from Hospice nurse and she said Kirk took a turn for the worse and could be in the last stages. Was sooo disheartening because just last week they were giving him water drops and Ensure. So, just letting you know.”

Thank you and God bless all here.

  13. 1jacobo5 says:

Please pray for my school. It is the only one like it in the entire United States – if not the world, and we are being forced to seperate from our Archdiocese.

Pray for our vulnerable students who will be hurt the most.

Pray for the staff whose faith has been shaken because of how we’ve been treated by the Archdiocese

Pray for those whose hearts are hardened

  14. Kerry says:

My brother Kirk died last evening about 9 P.M. Thanks to all here.

  15. Amina says:

Electrolyte children’s pops and IV water
