St. Joshua, of the Old Testament

Today is the commemoration of St. Joshua, of the Old Testament. Here is his entry in the Martyrologium Romanum:

… The commemoration of Saint Joshua, son of Nun, servant of the Lord, who, since Moses had imposed hands upon him, was filled with the spirit of wisdom and, after the death of Moses, wondrously led the people of Israel into the land of promise through the river bed of the Jordan.

St. Joshua, pray for us!
